I joined about when you did, had a diff name for a few yrs. We didn't have the trolls and agenda driven posting issues like we have now and people for the most part actually denied ignorance back then. Remember when Breaking News front page would cycle through in a few hours, now there's threads there that are days old on front pg. Sad in many ways but things change.

If the WAPO doesn't understand the difference between statements of opinion vs statements of facts then they shouldn't be in the news business.

But I suspect they do know the difference and simply don't care about misleading their readers.
