Only go out at night? Really? Is that so you wont see were you die at and die in a blissful sleep.

Just looked at google and it says that at the equator at night on Mars it gets to be -100 F. And who knows if google is right, likely not so much.

But!

If your standing on top of Mt Everest, in a snowstorm when the tempeture drops, it can get to -60F. On an average day or night, maybe -18 F. And thats enoph to kill and freeze most things, in fact most that died, never got anywere past the -18 mark.

At -100 degree on the equator at night, on mars. Those fancy space suits you linked with the fleece lined made in bangledesh space suits. Well they will freeze over, and you can likely chip at them and break them like glass with a hammer. Probably NASAs stuff wont do that much better.

You obviously never been anywere cold. Much less treked across cold areas.

You want to know what it feels like, well get some dry ice, drop a whole bucket load into a bucket, add some alcohol, rubbing or otherwise. Then stick you foot in there with the most advanced cold protection boot or whatever, leave it in there for oh lets say 10 to 20 minutes.

See what happens.
But really to make it more like Mars conditions may need to add some acetone instead of alcohol. You know, have some fun. And maybe you should try to heat up your foot somehow, maybe by blowing hot air in there.

See what happens.

Do it for science brah! Also you should have a camera handy, to post it on youtube. And unlike NASA do it live, in real time. Otherwise we will think your faking it up.

And I should hope the the NASA tested there mars space boots, at the least. Cant always rely on the Maths. After all its just a language of expressing physical realities, its not a reality in and of itself.

Im quite sure they are on mars. They use those triangle low gravity ships to get to space silently from earth. Then they either transfer astronauts to other ships on orbit which take them to moon and behind it is some bigger ship which goes to Mars.
Or they use spy satellite launches to get astronauts on orbit, they are then picked by black triangle craft with those electro engines which they are creating. These dont leave heat signature so chinese infrared camera sensor satellites cant see them.

They are dropped on Mars in soyuz like pods. Probably mostly 26-38 aged folks, generals sons or people who are related to each other somehow and to usa "elites" so they are reliable.

They have likely different teams on Mars, few are deep under cover military officers who keep a check on people.

They have an archeology team, consists of maybe 2-3 teams of men, 2-3 people per team who drive in the desert with ground penetrating radar, stopping and searching for temples and pyramids. Data is transferred back to base where likely one or two woman archeologist go through the data and they tell the teams where to go next.

They have Uav,s up too. Likely fuel based and small airfields too.

They are probably not concerned on how to get back yet, they are mainly building bases and scouting. Plans for a huge underground base is probably underway, near a underground water source.

They have gyms, showers, maybe even a swimming pool.

They find soft but steady enough rock, have tunnelboring machines bore into them. Then they seal them airtight with a hose and some liquid. Then they either live there or use small trucks to drive modules in and live in them.

Theres oxygen generator, nuclear power station, it likely has specialty person or persons, looking after them. Lab, workshop, computers. All kind of machines.

It inside looks probably like the colony in movie Aliens. Theres a food messhall, somekinda mainroom with a big screen, probably a projector.

They have all kind of work to do. Probably testing and planning new rifles for mars gravity (to be ready in future if unallowed guests arrive). Planned on earth, then they drop them on Mars when a new version comes.

They might even have miniature submarines swimming in underground lakes searching for proof of old civilizations. There might even be bacteria or viruses or small animals found in them or fossiles.

Theres already probably martian food availeble like moss and mushrooms (mondays) but most prefer their mre or what was airdropped for chef to make food from.

So if i can think of this, im quite sure some 5 star general can come up with it too, and have it done.

Elon Musk has no clue whats going on.

I found this pic in the internet, here you can see hair. That and a warm coat is all you need to survive Mars, depending on the temperature:
That image link works, but that man isn't at the top of Mt Everest, there's not even snow or ice on the ground where he's standing, maybe a few traces of it but no way he's at the top, he'd freeze dressed like that if he was, you lose a lot of heat through your head and it's cold up there.

Why would Nasa lie? Well nasas clearly a front with the bearded nintendo hawaii shirt scientists they parade on Tv to something bigger, its like from a movie script its not even believable at this point anymore. Look at this picture, this is the best thing Nasa has come up with with a Mars travel, and they say this might fly in 2040

That image link appears to be broken, I get this:

Oh ya! Your pretty sure of all that?

Well then, the only questions I have are.

But what kind of protein bars do they eat? And also what brand of sunscreen do they use?

Its truly like some scifi movie. Walking there on mars, having malps follow them like in stargate.

I worked in a cold storage facility that was -30F 12 hours a day and never even got cold just wearing 2 shirts and a coat and jeans. 2 pairs of socks and warm boots though.

Wouldn't last long at 100 below though, I'm sure.
Of course no high winds in a cold freezer building.

If been in one of those facilities, though did not feel like -30 to me, more like just under 0 or not even that really. Or really just about as cold as it is in winter when there is snow on the ground, which is around 30 to 20 F. Most fridges are around 30 to 40 degrees, and freezers are 0 or maybe -10 or so F.

At -30 it would be more then enough to freeze food like meats solid, but would be overkill when 0 to -10 would do.

Anyways!

Mars supposedley has 95% carbon dioxide atmosphere, some nitrogen and argon, in fact all the so called water lines and dunes are just from carbon dioxide. Or dry ice. Its pretty cold, I sometimes mess around with it for hobby purposes to freeze steel to low temps, but only because its cheaper to find and way less expensive then liguid nitrogen.

It gets pretty cold to, around -70 to 100, and melts pretty slow compared to ice, even in summer heat. But you can get it to melt and gass if you add alcohol, or even well you know water, but alcohol gets it colder and maybe kerosene and acetone drops it a few degrees more I think when it chemically changes to gas, but you know not good to sniff that stuff or you know put a spark to it especially if using the kerosene.

Anyways, point being. The cold would kill you for sure. But likely you would be long dead before the cold kills you. As any place were you got dry ice forming and melting and possible not solely because of the heat, especially at fast rates.

Is not a place anybody made out of meat would like to be at for any period of time even if it was a regular 80 degrees on a sandy beach in Hawaii, not like Hawaii has dry ice forming all the time, or they have over 90% co2 atmosphere, as that would totaly ruin your tan, and your whole day.

But here on earth it seems there worrying if Carbon dioxide goes up a .005 on the scale, and people freak out about global warming and the death of us all.

As were unlike Mars, with there impressive over 90% CO2 atmosphere. Were standing at a good .0391 percent, or so, not even in the 1%. And so dont have to worry about dry ice deaths in the last few hundred thousand millions of years.

And if that is not enough, you likely dont want to be anywhere were it gets to -100f out there at night in the warmest part of the planet, while all of that is going on. It not only ads to the problem, it compounds it by a hundred fold.

But, hey. Here are some more ideas on the whole Mars issue, this one on how to get around. You know they can surf on dry ice across the surface. Sounds good to me. You know just as soon as they fix all those other pesky issues, then dry ice surfing can be a thing.

Just like if the US build secret basses on the moon. Do you realize the strategic significant of even having one missile silo on the moon? Much less hidden basis.

Let just say, if it happened, there would be no space race, and likely no Russia or China right now, and we would be under a one world government, and the rich would be dinning on the moon and holding parties there. Ever read a book the moon is a harsh mistress, by Robert A Heinlein.

They wouldn't even need nukes. Just solid enough objects to withstand re-entry and the kinetic impact would be on par with nukes without all the radioactive fallout.

Whoever is able to control space and arm it will rule the world.

The equipment to launch anything big enough to survive re-entry would make this monumentally expensive to construct and the travel time to Earth would make it utterly pointless, as they could pretty much finish their cup of tea and send off an intercept whenever they felt like it.

You cannot calculate radiation my just making assumptions

You

On earth, it is suspected we get about 1 microsievert per day from cosmic radiation (sun). 2.4-5mSv per year. Of it 10-15% is from sun. 1mSv = 1000 microsieverts

Background radiation

en.m.wikipedia.org...

. The worldwide average natural dose to humans is about 2.4 mSv (240 mrem) per year.

Snip

Cosmic radiation from space
Yearly Average world, 0.39 mSv.

You played the numbers game again, and lost again.

You

0.6% atmosphere on Mars blocks 1.45msv. 210 microsieverts hit Mars of the 1.66 mSv which exists at orbit.
6% atmosphere on Mars would block 14.5mSv 0 microsieverts would pass since there was only 1.66mSv to start with.
60% atmosphere on Mars would block 145mSv 0 microsieverts would pass since there was only 1.66mSv to start with.
100% atmosphere on Mars would block 241.6 mSv, 0 microsieverts would pass since there was only 1.66mSv to start with.

You do know you cannot treat radiation exposure as linear.

Cosmic back ground would be constant outside each planets atmosphere. But radiation levels and types are absorbed at different rates by different gasses. With many radiation calculations based on exponential and logarithmic functions.

For solar radiation. Intensity drops by a factor of four as distance from the sun doubles.

Your assumption are useless.

How bad is the radiation on Mars?

m.phys.org...

Investigations:

NASA's 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft was equipped with a special instrument called the Martian Radiation Experiment (or MARIE), which was designed to measure the radiation environment around Mars. Since Mars has such a thin atmosphere, radiation detected by Mars Odyssey would be roughly the same as on the surface.

Over the course of about 18 months, the Mars Odyssey probe detected ongoing radiation levels which are 2.5 times higher than what astronauts experience on the International Space Station – 22 millirads per day, which works out to 8000 millirads (8 rads) per year. The spacecraft also detected 2 solar proton events, where radiation levels peaked at about 2,000 millirads in a day, and a few other events that got up to about 100 millirads.

8 rads comes out to 80,000 microsieverts a year. Vs 390 microsievers average at earths surface.

Now please explain how the temperature and the cosmic radiation profiles of mars shows it has a thicker atmosphere.

If Mars had a thick atmosphere, the difference between the night and day temps would not be near as extreme.

www.space.com...

A summer day on Mars may get up to 70 degrees F (20 degrees C) near the equator, but at night the temperature can plummet to about minus 100 degrees F (minus 73 C).

Absolutely none of NASA's sh@t is real.

They could have fooled me with all those rockets I see going up. We can see them all across the state.

So if they aren't rockets then what? Some super powerful projection machine that can fool the eye, telescopes, and cameras? Along with the rocket rumble and the shockwaves.

You know building some machines that can do all of that would probably be harder than sending up the rockets.

Nope. Just look up project Thor. Telephone size poles of dense metal is all thats needed. As far as shooting it down there is not much that could reach them and when they have enough speed not much could touch them. Travel time would be a few days, but so what?

I know it is unreasonable to think of sending something like that, but there are people on here claiming we have moon and Mars bases already. If they would just think a bit they would realize that if that was true then the world would be at their mercy.
