I been on outside looking in when it comes to religion. I didn't get it no one explained it to me. I didn't converse with a lot of people about it. I talked here like a child trying to fight way out of a paper bag I guess. Tried to say something positive didn't prepare speech well or rehearse it. Christianity believes in redemption and the good in people probably why I am still alive. I didn't know Jesus was considered a man of miracles till 2 years ago I heard the walk on water but didn't know he could bring back people from dead. I didn't get it . If survived this long and your probably right.

However I do believe every religion was created by men to control people using a propped up moon god of their choice.

If the only purpose of scripture is what you say? Then it would be far
more believable. Either the writers were all out of their minds on
shrooms and had coinciding trips over a period 1500 years on three
different continents. Or they simply recorded the truth of Gods timely
involvement at certain places and times in history. They obviously
weren't crazy. But you're allowed to reject God all you want in this
life.. So man up and drop the idiot reasoning of atheism because that
is the true lunacy.

You really just don't want it to be true because you would reject him
if Jesus walked up to you and kissed you on the cheek. So own it
instead of lying.

Whenever such unbelievers start running their fat mouths about what they consider to be real "evidence" of God, I just roll my eyes and move on. God could make an appearance in the form of a burning bush and have a chat with them. They will still drum up an excuse to reject God, maybe call it a hallucination or some crap.

I also find it ironic that what you said is 100% right on about Atheists today.
just look at the hostility in the replies... they go from attacking you, to denying they ever define "god" with the whole "oh we werent the ones who set the parameters in those past arguments" right back to attacking you...

its funny how none have tried to engage you philosophically... instead they act as if stung and offended... as a group nonetheless... not a one calling the other out for making a flawed point... but together they came just to hammer you and you alone, and point fingers.

I think the reason they are so "Hellbent" on attacking Religion wherever they see it, if you will pardon the phrase... is because as it was written
"Anyone who does NOT LOVE does not know God, because God is LOVE."

they are in denial of Truths beyond their comprehension... they made up their mind about "God" as they call it looooong before they ever researched anything scientific... and even then they reject all Science that does not conform to their world view, a world View that they most often express with flourishing thoughts of violence towards any religion...
