Democrats want to keep war going and keep Americans in a war zone, why we are there, what the goal is, when should we get out, what gives us the right to be there ... can't answer those questions, but Trump is against putting American soldiers in conflict so they are all for it.

It doesn’t matter anymore if someone does the right thing, no one notices.

It's sad that this is probably the most accurate statement on this site in the better part of a year.

Bringing our troops home is a great idea.

Abandoning our hard-won position in Syria to the Russians is not.

Neither is sending our boys and girls to lick the feet of the House of Saud.

The UN Charter sets out four main purposes: Maintaining worldwide peace and security. Developing relations among nations. Fostering cooperation between nations in order to solve economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian international problems.

The US nor UN should be in the business of making new nations. The Kurds are not a nation unto themselves. Syria is willing to work with the Kurds in their northern region. This is an issue that must be dealt with between two nations: Syria and Turkey. Turkey should be able to defend their border but by crossing into Syria offensively is wrong.

I have to agree with Trump, we did hold up our promise to assist Kurds against Isis. That has been done. They do need to negotiate with Syria to ensure their safety from Turkey. Syria as an official nation can seek assistance from the UN to temper Turkey...the Kurds cannot. The US does not need to be militarily involved in this current dispute between 2 nations.

President Trump is the only President who is actually following through on his promise to end the senseless wars in the Middle East. Americans are sick and tired of the endless wars. If Congress wants war let them declare war. It's their responsibility, not the President's.

Bring our men and women home.

Aye well.

Bring your troops home.

And send the bankers and politicians off to fight.

I predict world peace inside a week.

The fact of the matter is war is big business with all those spoils and profits to be had.

That's not going to change anytime soon.

Ignoring the behavior of our commander in chief, I'm confused as to why our presence in Syria is so critical as to require hundreds of our men and woman policing their domestic affairs. Why can't Syria provide their own security and why is it our job specifically to pick up their slack? Wasn't part of the deal to stop acting like hired guns and tend to our own back yard?

Well, ISIS HAD a major presence in Syria.

See? Even you understand. Mission accomplished against ISIS. They no longer Control vast swaths of Syria and Iraq.

If we were that intent on eliminating ISIS, we would have killed them all in combat rather than taking them prisoners.

Again, how long US troops be in Harms way in Syria?

Is this going to be an Afghanistan length deployment or Korean length?

Those 354 are all Americans, and have been democratically elected by Americans. The sheer fact that 354 voted to oppose the president tells us that 354 out of 435 is an ENORMOUS majority, and they speak for the people that elected them.

No, they don't, they speak for their masters that provide them with money and power.

They only pretend to represent the people who voted for them.

Irrespective of whether you are an American or not, ask away, I will be happy to educate you on how our democratic system works.

No thanks, I'd rather listen to someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

All this vote means is that there are a lot of RINOs that support the MIC...

*patiently waits for any of those soldiers to actually come home instead of just being moved somewhere else in the middle east..

Yes, that would be something. Since they are not coming home and we are selling 3,000 US troops to the King of Saudi Arabia, chances are those US troops from Syria got relocated and now work for the King. King of SA writes the check to the White House, White House writes the checks to the troops.

Mercenary army for hire.

Jesus Christ, make up your mind. War on Syrian soil good, Troops on Saudi Soil bad. I wonder what besides hate drives your opinions.

...Must protect Hillary "legacy" at any cost, otherwise Hillary and her supporters would "look bad"...that would be the end of the world...imagine...looking bad for the fools they are having supported ISIS-supporting Hillary

And just like that, Peace broke out and Trump gets a ceasefire.

The D. S. and Neocons must be seething.

Can't have Peace breaking out all over now, can we?

Who exactly do these 354 politicians represent?

The 354 swamp dwellers represent the Military Industrial Complex who are for the endless regime change wars. Their palms are greased by the largest defense contractors like Raytheon and Grumman who make billions off of unnecessary wars.

Got a feeling you look like your avatar. God forbid your minions get into power. Will see a civil war the likes our world has never seen. No globalist Marxist/socialist crap here. We need our troops back here. ISIS created by us for the CIA. Trump knows it keeps the military industrial complex going at the expense of young lives. NO MORE. Yet you fault him. Sad sick leftist who nothing but hates. Sorry for you.

We can't "bring all the troops home now" feel-good impulsive BS. That would result without question in a destabilization of the entire globe.

Then again, that might serve Trump's purposes, eh? But I digress.

I would love to see a reasonable and sound withdrawal from just about every "theatre" around the world. We have the technology that given an updated fleet and airforce no ground forces would need to be put in harm's way again unnecessarily.

The United States Armed forces are NOT mercenaries for hire. That is a slap in the face to every generation of our soldiers in my opinion. The suggestion is appalling.
