Contrary to the explanation given for abandoning our Kurdish allies in Syria, Donald Trump has announced that he is sending 2,800 more troops to Saudi Arabia.

The Trump administration said Friday it is sending 2,800 more troops, fighter jets and missile defense weaponry to Saudi Arabia to help bolster the kingdom’s defenses after a September attack on its oil facilities.

Defense Secretary Mark Esper ordered the deployment of additional service members, two fighter squadrons, one air expeditionary wing, two Patriot Missile batteries and one THAAD missile defense system. With the additional deployment announced Friday, Esper said U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia will number approximately 3,000.

Trump admin sending thousands more U.S. troops to Saudi Arabia

Earlier this week, Trump removed 100 Troops from Northern Syria after a phone call with Turkey Prime Minister. This paved the way for a Turkish invasion the next day which has so far caused 300 deaths, many women and children. Trump's reasoning for this move was to bring our troops home, but his newest move to send 2,800 troops to fight in Saudi Arabia on their behalf calls that reasoning into question.

The troop presence in Syria was a direct benefit to the USA. That benefit was to keep the ISIS fighters locked up and ensure no more rose up. There is no direct benefit for our troops to fight and die to protect Saudi Arabia's oil fields.

I'm quite aware that this is not going to change the minds of hardcore Trump supporters but surely even the loyalist Trump supporters can recognize the hypocrisy of this move.

These are just two examples of the price our Kurdish allies have paid due to Trump's decision to remove our troops from Syria. DO NOT CLICK IF YOU ARE EASILY UPSET BY BLOOD AND DEATH.

Saudi Arabia owns the 45th floor of Trump Tower in New York. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Trump has his hands in so many honey pots that he has no choice but to bend over backwards and comply. He owes a lot of people favors and he's gone a long way in paying those people back over the past 3 years.

Citizens United basically coordinated his campaign for him, the same people who fought for the establishment's right to bribe our politicians with unlimited "speech" anonymously. But Trump "can't be controlled by special interests", in his own words, all while David Bossie (the president of one of the most influential special interest groups in Washington) was behind the curtain the whole time. You can't make this stuff up.

Thank God the media helped to paint him as a martyr in the process, otherwise Trump supporters would have absolutely no reason to think he is anti-establishment. The fix is in, we're screwed. 🤣

Yeah, I know. Doesn't change the fact that we still are though. The swamp has gotten fuller.

Of course, there should be troops protecting our allies, especially ones that have fought alongside those very same troops.

The problem is coming away with such nonsense and chucking the toys out the pram in the first place.

That's not the way you win hearts and minds on any side.

All you do is look stupid.

Then again stupidity seems to be the colour of the day also.

Gulf War 3 ?

Perhaps not by desire but because when you squeeze too hard things go pop , tensions are high and building up troops on Iran's doorstep is bound to be seen as an aggressive step.

Saudi Arabia doesn't need it's defenses bolstered , it buys its toys from the US and has a more than capable military.

We live in a country whose government is full of corrupt pussies on both sides.

There is zero doubt Trump is allied with Russia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia. Business interests, favors, beholden, whatever.

He should be removed from office immediately.

Anybody supporting him is anti-American.

Actually, that is exactly what I want. What I don’t want is picking and choosing based on who Trump likes the best.

And they are all allied with the bankers, corporations, military-industrial complex and with connections to the world bank.

Go figure?

Trump is indeed a problem, but he is only one of many in a system designed to breed faults and discontent.

"If they cut off one head, two more shall take the place... Hail Hydra!"

It's all just swings and roundabouts really, but thats the problem with a two-party system, whilst the entire playpark is falling to pieces.

He seems to be doing a fair job of that himself given his past and current antics.

When he is reamoved it should be to a care home.

The trash media like the Associated press and the NYT, NBC, etc, are fully engaged in promoting all of these narratives which do not represent the actual reasons or goals of what our President's administration is doing, or the reasons stated by these garbage news agencies.

Soooo....All you are doing is re-processing the "garbage in garbage out" scenario the MSM is providing with these stories.

And it does not require a "Pro Trump" stance to see it. Just read the news closely and examine the narrative and it's "presentation".
Forget any thoughts of Trump in your mind and be honest about what you see.

Hope this helps.

The Saudis are not our allies, they are one of the largest propagators of Islamist terrorism.

And yet both our respective nations love to punt them weapons.

Its sheer madness.

Unless of course, the "Islamist terrorism" is not all it's cracked up to be, and there is another agenda in play.

My bet is that will involve money and profits, and not for the Islamic terrorists who we helped create.
