A Few Questions to our ATS Celebrities

I open this post with respect to all who contribute on the daily ATS headlines. I have been an observer of ATS for over 10 years - with minimal
contribution, but much to learn from all of the threads! I have been a liberal, a conservative, a radical, and a moderate, all based on the
information I consume on a daily basis. This may seem a bit conflicting, but I believe this is not an extrodinary feature that most people conform to
in our modern society. We are what we eat, and also what we read.
Growing from observation of many topics such as people & politics, math & science, religion & philosiphy, or just the world in general, my mind has regularly shifted from one belief to the next. I can personally admit that this place has changed my perspective countless times, helping to shape who I am and what I believe (among many other contributing factors, of course).
With all of that said, I would like to pose a few questions to the more active posters of this forum. Those who's names we see in almost every thread, those who start over 90% of the threads that make it to the front page, those who you know are posting in a thread just based off of the title.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST IMPORTANT OBJECTIVE FOR THE WORLD?
HOW DOES IT POSITIVELY AFFECT OUR WORLD?
HOW DOES IT NEGATIVELY AFFECT OUR WORLD?
WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?
These questions are at the foundation of our humanity, which we expect our youth and our elders to understand. I sincerely request that those who contribute keep the debate of anothers answers to a minimum, and instead answer the above questions with honesty and integrity. There is no bias to the left, right, up, or down in these questions... though I would hope to see contributers from different perspectives providing some insight for us lurkers to get a better understanding of our true ATS overlords.

Let me be clear as I do not consider myself to be an ATS celebrity but they know me here.

The people you believe are ATS celebrities are not. Most of the great minds on here in the early days left when the leadership in this place started
to restrict what could and couldnât be said and what topics they considered off limits. ATS is a shell of its former self and i suspect some of the
most well known names are actually not the original people who started them. Beware of false idols they are everywhere and in a digital world needing
subscribers once the celebrities leave so do most other people.

As a amateur citizen journalist and part of the ATS community, addressing the issues of corruption is the main objective. Lots of diverse views and experience on this site to question the different aspects of stories as they turn up.
HOW DOES IT POSITIVELY AFFECT OUR WORLD?
Identifying and addressing the issues of corruption leads to a more reality based perception of this world. Creating a more fairer and just world is the aim. The fake news media is stirring up a lot of fear and hate as people are getting the wrong idea about what is really going on.
HOW DOES IT NEGATIVELY AFFECT OUR WORLD?
Standing up for truth and honesty does come at a price. There is a lot of uncertainty to contend with at times. There is also a lot of risk in confronting the status quo, powerful people do not want to give up their power.
WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?
Admit it and move on. Lot easier to be wrong than right in such a mixed up media landscape.

I get what your saying but in all honesty the content was much better, people would spend hours detailing information for better and easier consumption and they would back up their theories with sources. Conspiracy wasnât cool or hip people didnât get called woke for biggie Tupac conspiracy theories. It wasnât some marketable Taco Bell commercial with the all seeing eye.
Todayâs conspiracy theory isnât organic because itâs become a trend for idiots who would have been the same people mocking us back in the day. Most of these woke posters are on conspiracy theory training wheels and dive about as deep as a bird bath. They honestly donât have the mind for it! Back when I started you didnât talk about the subjects at parties or bars, parents shunned their children over it, we got mocked publicly for years only on this site which most of us believed was a honey pot made to contain us was where we came together to talk about our theories was it kind of safe. We might slip up and say something at a family dinner which shocked the crap out of everyone only to get mocked and laughed at about it later. Trust me when I say the environment back then separated the men from the boys.

It's just that they have been pushed to the back by this political bickering. I still blame the creation of the mudpit for that. Decorum and civil conversation always was the main feature that made me come to ATS.

Since the mudpit attitude has infected every corner of this site you are more often ridiculed for asking a question or not being enough informed on a certain topic.
All in all I still enjoy my daily dose of ATS but under the motto "if you can't beat them, join them" I am finding myself more and more in the mudpit poking people and throwing mud...

My actions have no effect on the world nor can I influence world events so I only have an objective for me , be happy and enjoy life.
I hope it positively effects the small part of the world around me but it doesn't effect your world.

The pursuit of happiness is never wrong as long as it doesn't detrimentally effect others.

Donât call them celebrities, please. Iâve enjoyed the content here for the most part but there is no one here to celebrate. Honestly thereâs some pretty blatant propaganda shared by the more active members here who only regurgitate what their favorite biased news source tells them to say.
Free thought gets stomped on by many of the usuals. These people donât deserve praise. It would be great if they could be knocked down a few notches but the internet loves its drama and sensationalism.

I come here because I like my beliefs challenged. I like to learn what other people are thinking. And I genuinely enjoy many of the personalities on these boards- even the ones I disagree with.
As much as I like to be proven right about some things, I enjoy almost as much when I'm proven wrong. I consider it personal growth.
In terms of what I think are important issues or topics facing the world, I'd start with a genuine respect and certain level of civility towards the beliefs of others. Not every disagreement should rise to the level of hatred.
How we treat one another, imo, is a prerequisite to almost all other issues. Fix that, and we fix many things.
