It was a genuine head scratcher when he was put on the Obama ticket. DE being not far from PHL, he popped up in the news from time to time. He just seemed like a mild dolt to me, but then he made it to VP. Strange choice, in my mind.

The odd thing is, he very clearly posted the pic of the plane tail with the number 80002 with both Marine 1 and 2 in the background coming in. Then his second pic is of him walking with what appears to be Airforce 1 in background with tail number 80000? Side note...where is 80001?

Do Marine 1 and 2 always travel together for the VP and are AF 1 and 2 always kept together?

Those two pictured are modified B757's that the VP usually flies on. For the Marine flights you usually see two or three together (sometimes more). One, helicopters aren't very roomy and POTUS and the Veep generally have a large entourage traveling with them, and also, they play a bit of a shell game in air. Harder to shoot down three helicopters, and once they are moving around, it'd take a lot of coordination and effoet to pick the one with your target on it.

ETA: Airforce One would be any AF plane the POTUS is on, but is often used generically of the VC-25's he typically flies on. Those are B747 modifications larger than the C-32's in your picture.

When you question yourself, think about anti-gun Pelosi bringing to the attention of the press her bullet bracelet with orange beads.

They do not wish Trump well and they're reaching the point of real hysteria because they cannot control him any other way.

It is amazing to me that he has been an outstanding leader and they absolutely condemn him for it. Just proves how dysfunctional our government really is.

Just a reply to Q from last thread about Ingraham interview; It was an awful interview. Once again, weak, ineffectual, limp wristed promises to hold a vote, to hold Rosenstein in contempt. Who. Cares?

Until Rosenstein is hauled off by the House Sergeant At Arms, as granted per the Supreme Court, it means NOTHING. Anyone remember Holder? Nothing happened to him. Nothing. This pisses me off to no end. Just close the fist and crush them already. What the hell is Trump waiting for?!

Not to worry. If we in the cheap seats deduced all of this SS and MI most assuredly have - he's fine, but those who are in the target box are not and they are flying blind and worse. I'm not concerned.

The Secret Service and local police probably cleared those woods days ago, and secured it. They'll probably flood it again tomorrow morning.
The whole assassination/bullet bracelet thing is a little eyebrow raising, but the Secret Service are pretty thorough. If you have certain training or experience and live in the area to be visited, you'll even get contacted or surreptitiously checked up on.
Nothing is ever completely safe, but the woods would be my last concern. They'll have that sewn up tight.

We should all pray anyway. We're at a historical crossroad even without an (alleged) assassination threat.

One more post for the evening.

Here is a Washington Post article about how Obama insisted no less than eight different times that the US was not considering any "boots on the ground" missions in Syria. It's basically just a bunch of times he said stuff like this:

Obama in his weekly address 

"This will not be Iraq or Afghanistan. There will be no American boots on the ground — period." 

Interesting how when President Trump basically says the same thing (except backs it up with action), this dude is clearly a menace and a threat to national security.
