Disturbing tweet; but one I must say bears serious consideration in it "not" being an exaggeration.

I wonder if Trump may need to invoke some Abraham Lincoln kind of things... seriously, things are getting way too "intense" in the USA right now.

Sorry, but I think the left have totally lost it....

SNL TV show taking about assassinating the POTUS, instead of impeaching, etc...and them allowing a long chant on Steve C TV show on lock HIM up, etc...

It is pretty obvious to me, and many others that what is going on is way beyond the normal resistance, and has reached a new high for the term "witch hunting"...

Quite disgraceful to see going on. The Congress and political process in the USA has discredited itself tothe point it won't be taken seriously for decades to come.

My opinion only of course.

In the linked article of news on original post..... I noticed how NBC news managed to not allow "all" of Trumps tweet to be read.

Trump said, " As I learn more and more each day, I am coming to the conclusion that what is taking place is not an impeachment, it is a COUP, intended to take away the Power of the People, their VOTE, their Freedoms, their Second Amendment, Religion, Military, Border Wall, and their God given rights as Citizens of The United States of America."

When you read his tweet in its entirety, it is hard to disagree with Mr Trumps take on the situation.

OK, but since when is/was any POTUS assassination a "good thing" to joke about?

Everyone knows what the "intent" was with SNL's "evil stunt". Don't try to sugar coat it, please.

So Lincoln's assassination is something to joke about now too?

If Lincoln would have evaded his death... we never would have known the term "carpet bagger".

The south would not have been "raped" for decades afterwards either.

At least that WAS what Lincoln planned and wanted... a full, FORGIVEN, restart for all.

The jokes and suggestion on doing harm to the elected President is not only dangerous, but also treasonous.

As much as I disliked a few Democrat POTUS, I never wanted to hear, or would have supported that type of behaviour by MSM, TV shows, etc.

And if I ever would've found out about a "real" attempt in the making, I would have turned them in to the police for trying to do something illegal and destabilise the nation.

That type of garbage and evil, no one should ever support, or "joke about". My opinion only again, of course.

It's not a coup if he is voted out.

Besides, Trump isn't the American government. He is a single person who is the current President. A temporary position at best.

Too many posters here seem to think he is going to be President forever.

It's not a coup if he is voted out.

It is if he is voted out because a bunch of illegal aliens were given false IDs and rounded up to vote. Not to mention the hacking that could happen with the ballot count. I don’t put anything past democrats to win this election. Yes.. even an assassination.

Lots of people are chosen for lots of things.

If you are implying that the morally bankrupt Donald Trump, purchaser of prostitutes, foul mouthed slanderer, corrupt businessman, casino owner (and so on) has some sort of religious significance, then you have really misunderstood religions. The saints of god are saints. Just are.

If you are only saying that he was chosen to be President, then you have to moderate that though, due to the fact that he was only slightly less chosen than Hillary Clinton.
