I see hypocrisy on both sides.

Like how many on this site I've seen outraged he moved items to an alleged more classified server (which from my understanding would be government issued)... Yet some of the same ones crying foul were ones who defended Hillary's private email server.

Or the claims to extortion when Biden and Obama did the same thing (maybe for different reasons, but we don't know all the reasons possibly).

Or how about Obama's admin spying on foreign leaders rather than talking to them on certain things.

Now, if Trump is found of serious wrong doing, and I see the evidence, I'll acknowledge that. But how many people have been accusing him of impeachable of fences after only a few days and no investigation? Many are the same ones saying Hillary should be elected before the investigation was over saying innocent until proven guilty.

Both sides are hypocritical, one side more than the other until the investigation comes out.

After the leaks about talks between Mexico's president and Australia's president, measures had to be taken to insure security of the conversations. Or else no one would ever speak to us again. This is key.

Leaks caused by the insider leftists created the situation they now complain about.

The dems panicked because it would implicate them.

In my other thread about uniting the country it is clear that maybe we can't.

On the bright side (if there actually is one) the actual fighting will be isolated.

Like the 1st civil war, very few actually fought, though all felt the impact.

The problem that the left has, is that they conflate Trump with what most of us want. We really don't care about Trump. We want (for the most part) his policies.

Most of Americans want the Constitution and Bill of Rights followed.

Most just want to be left alone, work, support our families and drink a beer at the end of the day.

Most of us hate wars, drama, infighting.

We want lower taxes so we can have more money.

We want government to deliver the mail and secure our borders and to fix our roads.

Everything else is just fluff.

I think you missed my point. This president is an outsider. He gave some of us voters hope that he'd clean up the old guard and get rid of the freeloaders and self-servers in Congress (on both sides). His goal isn't to divide and conquer although that's an unfortunate side effect. The division comes because the hangers-on are screaming and squealing because they feel threatened.

It kind of reminds me of the Exorcist where the evil inside an innocent girl lashes out at the priest for trying to exorcise it.
