How are tax returns a secret. It's information legally requested and given to the IRS. It's not a secret. It would only be a secret if he did not file with the IRS. At that point it would be a secret to the IRS. My neighbor's tax return is not a secret to me. He's not keeping it from me. I'm not entitled to see it.

And what is the point anyway of seeing someone else's tax returns. The one that did leak was immediately showcased on a far left leaning TV show for a political hit job. It certainly wasn't to praise him for the millions in taxes he paid. Madow never said it was honorable that he paid all those taxes.

I said the same thing about Obama's college transcripts and birth certificate. If the people wanted to see them he would not have won. I didn't vote for him but it had nothing to do with that documentation. It was actual policies I didn't like.

My point is no mater what his tax records say it won't impact anything. People voted for him on policies. They don't care if he went bankrupt, paid no taxes, paid a lot....they do not care.

How the media missed this is odd but, what is more odd; none of the Democrat candidates are being attacked for not submitting five years of tax returns. They only do that for one candidate.

They are also not attacking any other candidate but one for filing for bankruptcy. Marianne Williamson did, lost a home because of it yet silence. It was on Wiki but looks like they deleted the paragraph about her financial problems and losing a home in foreclosure.

One would think that of all the reporters out there, at least one would point out the hypocrisy of wanting tax returns for only a single candidate and wanting to shame that one candidate for bankruptcy while everyone else gets a pass. Guess not.

Well except for the one page of one year that “was leaked” by trump to make himself look better..


It will be too easy for conservatives to use that against them if they don’t, and the left actually cares if their politicians are blatantly corrupt..


So where not releasing his tax returns helps trump with his supporters, because they don’t want to know how dirty he is.

Not releasing their tax returns will hurt the democrats, because they actually want to know who they are electing.

Wanna bet on that prediction that all or even say 5 of the candidates release 5 years of Tax returns like they want DJT to do? If you are wrong you don't come back to ATS for say 6 months? Then if you accept, what would you suggest if I am the one wrong?

No, anyone who wanted to see Obama's personal documents was a racist. And anyone who wants to see Trump's personal documents is a racist.

I just can't believe that in this day and age we still have these racist Taxers blatantly exposing their racism outside of their Klan meetings. It makes me want to go vandalize a statue or something, but it's a nice day outside so I think I'll just cut my grass instead.

If there was anything incriminating of Trump's tax returns, you can bet that some IRS public sector union stooge would have leaked them by now.

Trump is the only president that has had a personal life outside of politics. He has made and lost more money than most of us will ever see. Professional politicians have ways of making it look like they're just above middle class when it comes to reported income but they live millionaire lifestyles. Ever wonder how folks like the Clintons, Obamas and a lot of senators do that? They cheat, that's how. They hide all of their money in non-profit organizations like the Clinton Foundation.

The point is, professional politicians know how to hid their money and don't pay the taxes for the income they live off of.

Thus the IRS person would not be able to use whistleblower protections..

In the last 40 years only only one other president has not released his tax returns.

TAX RETURNS ARE PRIVATE BY FEDERAL LAW UNLESS COURT ORDERED OR VOLUNTARILY RELEASED
that is THE LAW.....

THE BIGGEST IS THE CONSTITUTION SETS THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PRESIDENT .
there is no wording for TRADITION or OTHERS DO IT or others demand it.

to sum it up

the law states clearly you CANNOT DEMAND or FORCE him (outside of the courts, tell me hows that going for you) to release it.

THE CONSTITUTION does not require ANYONE to release them

but most important...
THE VOTERS WHO ELECTED HIM DONT CARE.

so unless you want to reduce your chances of beating him next election even further GET OFF THIS DEAD HORSE.

If you want to INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF LOOSING... keep up the anti trump by any means plank.

I will absolutely bet that the final 5 democrats all release their tax returns, assuming it doesn’t end up in a 4 or 3 way race before the tax returns are relevant..

In the last 40 years, Gerald Ford and trump are the only 2 major party nominees who did not release them and ford lost.

In that time Trump is the only one who ever didn’t release them and won..


So yea, I think the Vegas spread would be ridiculously in my favor.

1) No one EVER claimed it was required by law, but that is conservatism 101 right, pick a position no one actually supports and debate that instead of the actual topic..

2) trump and ford are the only 2 NOMINEES, who have not released their tax returns, and only trump has won when not releasing them..


That is an established transparency issue that a candidate should pay a price for.


Trump won’t, because his followers don’t want to know how dirty he is.. they have all went head first hook line and sinker. So if he is just some slimy old corrupt billionaire who only cares about himself. Then that is all the conservative base traded their dignity for.
