Presidental Candidates & Tax Returns

None of the Democratic 2020 presidential candidates have submitted five years’ worth of their tax returns to the state of California.
If that law would have not been shot down, none of them would have been on the ballot. Actually, nobody would be on the ballot.

How the media missed this is odd but, what is more odd; none of the Democrat candidates are being attacked for not submitting five years of tax returns. They only do that for one candidate.

They are also not attacking any other candidate but one for filing for bankruptcy. Marianne Williamson did, lost a home because of it yet silence. It was on Wiki but looks like they deleted the paragraph about her financial problems and losing a home in foreclosure.

One would think that of all the reporters out there, at least one would point out the hypocrisy of wanting tax returns for only a single candidate and wanting to shame that one candidate for bankruptcy while everyone else gets a pass. Guess not.

None of the dEmocrat 2020 candidates will ever be President.

It will be too easy for conservatives to use that against them if they don’t, and the left actually cares if their politicians are blatantly corrupt..


So where not releasing his tax returns helps trump with his supporters, because they don’t want to know how dirty he is.

Not releasing their tax returns will hurt the democrats, because they actually want to know who they are electing.

Look no candidate UNDER FEDERAL LAW has to release his/her tax returns.

he has been audited MULTIPLE TIMES by the IRS to include the year he was running.
so unless you think the IRS is in his pocket (psst dont try or the FACTS of how they were used during obama time to target conservative groups will make you look foolish) his returns had NOTHING ILLEGAL in them

if you really want the democrats to have a chance at beating trump, stop with the "tax return" platform and maybe go for economic ideas that benefit the voters and they want

if there was there would be at least a known charge and some "anonymous source" leak by now.

There is no election law--state or federal that requires him to, or anyone to for that matter.

Maybe it should be law. If you're running for public office and want to be a public servant you should be required to make your financials public as well. That goes for Republican or Democrat.

Not sure how much it would help to bring corruption to light but it's a start. Or we could just take a politician's word that they aren't being bought and paid for, after all politicians are extremely trustworthy, right?
