You seem to see this in a way that is different from me though we do agree on a number of points.
One that we agree on is the political divide. While you put all the blame on the Democrats I see that some of that blame rests on the the Republicans
and their wishy washy relationship to Trump. The candidates and others who ran against him were very vocal as to how they saw him. The hollering
against him was so loud, remember. Yet when he won the office, they all shut up and bowed the knee rather than attempting to run a democracy and
instead have settled for the centralized authoritarian system that he is trying to establish. Yes, I see him as a megalomaniac and all the rest of the
Republican Party just genuflects and say yas maasta yas maasta.
There has been for the last couple of decades a trend towards endowing the Executive Branch with more and more power. Clinton helped it and Bush
sucked it in as fast as he could. Obama was no exception in accepting more Executive authority and what we have now it seems is a potus who seeks to
reap all the power he can for his branch of the government. He is turning the Executive Branch into the Trump Branch.
So if you want to put all the blame on those others I think it a result of the very ''planned'' actions of the Trump Branch and not from an unbiased
assessment of the entire political scene.
