why does it seem that everyone that produces a product seems to be conservative, and everyone that consumes a product is a liberal/progressive?

(making video games or anything that is not a "real" product, doesn't count, it's not tangible.)

its like the left does not get that impeachment wont be happening even pelosi says its a non starter

www.politico.com...

In a closed-door meeting last week, Speaker Nancy Pelosi stunned lawmakers and aides with a swipe at Democratic staff on the House Judiciary Committee. Pelosi criticized the panel’s handling of impeachment in harsh terms, complaining committee aides have advanced the push for ousting President Donald Trump far beyond where the House Democratic Caucus stands. Democrats simply don’t have the votes on the floor to impeach Trump, Pelosi said. “And you can feel free to leak this,” Pelosi added, according to multiple people in the room. Pelosi’s office declined to comment on the meeting. It was the latest sign of the widening schism between Pelosi and Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, two longtime allies who are increasingly in conflict over where to guide the party at one of its most critical moments.
but i will admit it is nice watching them fight with each other while trumps numbers rise

Imagine how much higher trumps numbers would be if 95 percent of those with cultural power I mentioned weren’t constantly attacking him.

That plus the fact that these polls are always slanted left as much as possible.

So, that means that Obama's approval was likely lower than reported back then, and Trumps is higher than is actually being reported - in my opinion, a lot higher.

If any of the current front runners ran, it would just be business as usual, and I strongly doubt they could pass any of their objectives. Bernie at one time may have had many peoples' hope, but he caved to Hillary after dirty politics. If his whole platform is going against the establishment, how can people trust him to do that if he cannot within his own party?

The dem with the best chance at beating Trump (thouogh I think he would still win handily) is Tulsi Gabbard, but no way they let her get the nomination.

All Bernie needs to do is pull an Obama and galvanize the youth vote. If he can do that, Trump is screwed.

Nope. Maybe if he'd gotten the nomination in 2016, but its too late now. Trump would crush him.

Nuclear is a tricky one, we will obviously have to find some technologies to replace it.

No, actually, the only effort I could see myself getting behind is spending to find the best way to safe nuclear power.

Something like this.

If I were Dictator, I'd dictate that we spend every single dime currently going to anything power related into getting these things operational, and expand it to tiny, self contained versions that could be used to power a sing;e building, home, or neighborhood, eliminating the huge, wasteful, unsightly and extremely inefficient 'power grid' (all those power lines you see everywhere).

The only saving grace any on the left would have to propose these new deals going forward is being able to sell us on being able to collect federal taxes from corporations. As it stands in the establishment camps, they're OK with allowing the current practices to keep business at home and settle for the income tax from the employees...

I honestly don't understand how people simply cannot get that 'corporations can not pay taxes'. Ever. PERIOD.

People pay taxes. If you tax Corporations, they simply treat that as a Cost of doing business and pas it on to - gasp - people. It is a hidden 'Sales tax', in that the Corp charges more for their product/service than they would without the tax.

The only tax that makes sense, and is fair, is a head tax, where everybody pays the same amount, be it $100/yr or $1,000/yr.

I produce a product and am liberal. Not only that, I have become more liberal under Trump thanks to the way his economic policy has screwed over my industry.

I wasn't saying we have to now, rather eventually we'll want to find a cleaner source (nuclear is extremely clean till it comes to disposing the fuel.

Here's a quick 4 minute video of a guy trying to do that not too far from me... It's a really neat video, maybe it's not the answer, just cool to see regular people trying to figure it out and open source the technology.

What Industry is that? I'm curious, since virtually all areas I can think of have been greatly helped by his policies.

Then you should read up on the link I provided. Those reactors can use the spent fuel rods stockpiled around the world as fuel, and use it all up - no more billions of tons of nuclear waste sitting around for 50,000 years.

This is a tech that is not far away at all, especially if we threw billions at it.

Brewing. We rely on aluminum to distribute our product. Thanks to Trump's tariffs, prices have risen on kegs and cans. That cuts into the already very narrow profit margin of most craft brewers.

So raise your prices and ride it out. Once Trump negotiates a new actually fair deal, you'll reap the benefits.

Interesting vid, thanks... I think open-sourcing this kind of tech is the only way it will ever see the light of day.

The powers that be will do anything to prevent it from getting out:

I remember that Obama's polls were in the toilet right before the supposed OBL raid. It was uphill from there for him.

Through hindsight, it's hard to believe it was anything less than a staged event.
