Population collapse

When it comes to the future of humanity,Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Alibaba founder Jack Ma disagree on whether people should be scared by the potential of artificial intelligence. Ma is optimistic about AI, while Musk is more apocalyptic. But the two billionaire businessmen do agree on the biggest problem the world will face in the future: not enough people.

"Most people think we have too many people on the planet, but actually, this is an outdated view," Musk said while on stage with Ma at at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai on Wednesday. "Assuming there is a benevolent future with AI, I think the biggest problem the world will face in 20 years is population collapse."

"The biggest issue in 20 years will be population collapse. Not explosion. Collapse."

This is interesting as we see a massive increase in propaganda to get young people in the USA to stop having children. Is there an agenda to actually depopulate the west, even though there is no impending crisis of overpopulation or environmental destruction in our future? What then is the plan, or reasoning, behind the powers-that-be wanting us to put an end to ourselves?

I doubt it. It costs 51 thousand to aquirt one out, and then you got childcare. Peepz cant afford it. And i didnt know this but the us has the highest maternal death rate of any western nation.

So to summarize...kids are to poor and too scared to have kids.

I can see their point and I think they may be right.
I guess they're assuming that more people will have sex with Artificial Intelligence because I don't think people are going to stop having sex.
Better methods of birth control and economic woes (robots doing most of the labor) may also help people decide against having children in our future.

They are hiding the fact that the USA is reducing in population by allowing more immigrants into the country. The population is only rising because of immigration. The white people soon will be a minority in the USA. All other races are increasing in population except Whites.

It is not only birth control, it is also food science that effects certain populations equally. The thing is that chaotic people will not eat these foods, neither will some ethnic groups, we are told these food chemistries are safe and actually good for you. They want to kill off or dope down the people who can think well enough to challenge the government they want to create in the near future. This is not only happening in the USA, some of the population control science is in European country. It is only considered a crime if they target one ethnic group or one race, so it is not genocide since they have multiple target groups. It just happens that whites believe them more than other groups, the people who spread this are unaware what is going on, they are just parrots.

Ok, enough conspiracy, this is not a conspiracy, it is just the way it is. I have a hard time believing that there could be so much coincidence leading to one direction. But then again, people are not as smart as they believe they are.

I wish the government would offer one thousand dollars and a free procedure to Males between 21 and say like 35 that provides a free vasectomy if and when they are willing. I think a lot of men that don't want to have children, or are incapable of taking care of one, would sign up for the money. I say males because the procedure is easier for a male than a hysterectomy on a female.

Give them a thousand dollars now so we don't have to fork out hundreds of thousands later for children stuck in the welfare system.

It's really not a conspiracy. Life is expensive, the world is a mess, and many people I know just don't want to bring children into this poohole. I have 4 kids, and I have to work multiple jobs to make sure we're comfortable. Not everyone wants to live like this. It's worth it to me, but it's not something everyone can handle. A lot of couples just want to enjoy each other without the financial burden, and other burdens, of children.

in our future

Not to take away from your thought here, but there is this question. Is it ''our '' future?

There used to be a long time ago thoughts about the future. The future was next week or next year. The future was only the next crop cycle, the next migration of the herds and the annual tribal migrations when the snows fell.

Then there were the times as civilizations grew and leaders started planning on building big buildings and monuments that would last forever. But the people I think still dwelt in the present and gave not much thought to the future other then the next loaf of bread.

In the last couple of centuries more people started thinking about the future and somewhere along the line people started organizing to not just get ready for the future but to organize the present so that it would being about that better future.

But you know what? Things now are changing so quickly I don't know how any of us can figure out not only how to make the future better but to even have much of a clue what that future will be like.

I used to be one of those liberals who wanted to adjust the present to suit a vision of the future I hoped for. But ya know what? That seems to be only a vision, a dream. At this point I have no idea what the future will be and now I think that the present is what we have, changing before our eyes, and I am willing to just let the future take care of the future, be it ''our future'' or maybe someone else's future.

Honestly there are several factors causing the reduction in population.
Feminism is a huge part.
More and more women are career oriented so they are having fewer children or none at all.
Men are getting shafted today also by being hammered in family court so they are protecting themselves financially.
Now add the expense of raising children and it's not surprising people are having fewer kids.

Except for poor people.
They get handouts so kids don't cost them.
Medicaid.
Free insurance.
Free school lunches.

I can't speak for everyone else, but only for my own family. I got "fixed" after having 2 children because that is all I could afford to have. Each of my children did the same after each having 1 child for the same reason. My grandchildren might choose to have no children because they may not be able to afford having any at all. Meanwhile there are irresponsible people squirting out kids left and right, relying on taxpayer dollars to support their poor choices. Bottom line? Responsible people can't afford to have more kids because they are barely surviving and yet are forced (through taxation) to support the kids of irresponsible people. Doesn't seem fair, does it?

GENESIS 1:28

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Rules of thy FATHER...

Many choose to doubt his Existence and so don't hear or are not receptive to his word, which permits then certain activities or practices that begin to go against what was intended for xx chromosome female and xy chromosome male.

I have tried to understand population control or make sense of it. The only reasonable use of it I could think of currently is if there are Harvesting periods of mankind (by non-humans think Jupiter Ascending type activities) once mankind reaches a certain population point say 10 billion, perhaps those with that data try to prevent the population from reaching said population point to prevent the Return or Attraction of them. Just a thought.

I say that world population is one thing the Georgia guidestones got right.
Now that we've worked out things like LED lighting and solar electricity, it's prime time to start cutting down the world population to a sustainable level.

That means about 7 out of every 8 folks currently wandering this plucky little rock need to die out.

If we allowed that to happen, everyone would have enough property to prosper- everyone would be able to eat well without having to feed the masses cottonseed oil and other terrible poisons.

But it won't happen- people are too greedy.
I won't be leaving any children behind to suffer in this mess we've created- and my lifes work will no doubt be consumed by some greedy bastards, gutted, and turned out for a quick profit.

But at least I'm not adding to the problem!

Odd that you would say that! Yep, that's the plan. Look at the feminazi's and their agenda combined with environmentalism, YET why are they not in AFRICA slowing down that bunch of breeders?

Nope no agenda there at all.

My thoughts... maybe Earth has limits and is going to naturally take care of population #'s until it thinks we are ready for an increase again, so things are gona slow down for a while.

If you want people to create the next generation, make it easier to raise those kids!
But, quite frankly, we are always hearing how robotics and such will start taking over our jobs.
And even now, we are probably losing more jobs than we are workers. Doubt if we really need to import workers, we probably have enough people capable of working to fill these jobs sitting on the sidelines, taking on the job of motherhood, on disability although they could be productive if they were just given some training or just a chance, or just refusing these jobs because they just dont fill their needs. The more machines take over out labor needs, the less labor we need... and the less we need to maintain the population we currently have. And, it's not like the current climate gives much assurance that those who dont find a place in the new economy that is coming around the bend will be able to have a decent life. Not that it couldn't be provided for them, just that greed will win out like it always have..

Besides, who relishes the thought of sending kids to school if they have to worry about them getting gunned down by a lunatic on top of how they are gonna feed them on 30 dollars for the week, how that pile of ever growing medical bill's will be paid, will I have enough to cover the rent, wonder how much the electric bill will be this month.

They might say we need to have kids, but their actions are conveying a different message...
