Well, Barr can ONLY enforce laws enacted by Congress and signed by POTUS.

Not really sure the AG has anything meaningful to tell Congress about laws already on the books. SCOTUS would validate constitutionality of any law.

I'm with PSM on this, the text of the piece makes little sense with reality.

Attorney General William Barr is meeting with lawmakers on Capitol Hill to discuss gun legislation proposals under consideration by the White House. CBS News chief congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes joins CBSN to discuss how Republicans and Democrats are reacting.

It does get him into the meeting without much interest. Very odd.

Personally I think that would be an incredibly hard sell to the conservative citizens; much less the progressives. I am guessing on the “high end of drama” it would be informing Congress of pending arrests. On the low end; providing an update on human trafficking (Ep & this latest creep) Maybe he’s surrendering to the House Provost for that contempt charge, lol.
