That was happening under Obama yet again. He closed many jobs and made it harder on other jobs with his "forceful environmental laws" which Obama passed without Congress approval. Truckers were hit hard, because of the use of ELDs and with the environmental taxes Obama added and many had to leave their jobs because they couldn't pay the taxes. Then Obama came up with another scam in which truckers could pay a penalty fee which would allow them not to pay for the taxes. But again that was too expensive for many truckers and they had to look for other jobs. POTUS Trump also overturned Obama's ELDs as well as environmental laws and many former truckers were able to return to their jobs as truckers.

POTUS Trump has brought back many of those jobs that Obama closed and has been trying to replace ACA with something better but Democrats/Liberals have been stopping these attempts. It was under the Obama administration that the amount of jobs available were hidden because of ACA, it was too expensive for many companies, which caused many jobs to lower the amount of hours they could pay their employees and in many instances even stopped giving overtime...

It was under the Obama administration that working 30 hours a week became a "full time job." So hundreds of thousands of part-time jobs became "full-time" overnight and the Obama administration claimed they added jobs to the market when that is a lie.

This act if he so deems, can freeze Chinas assets in the USA plus a lot more nasty things, it might be a barganing chip to bring them to the table.

CHINA says it's now ready to end the trade war.

China signaled on Monday it was now seeking a "calm" end to its ongoing trade war with the U.S., as Asian markets crumbled and China's currency plummeted to an 11-year low following the latest tariffs on $550 billion in Chinese goods announced last Friday by the Trump administration.

News of the possible opening in negotiations came shortly after President Trump threatened to declare a national emergency that would result in American businesses freezing their relationships with China. Trump's tariff barrage on Friday was a response to China imposing its own retaliatory tariffs on $75 billion in U.S. goods.

China now have possibly the largest foothold in rare earth elements mining. Every device you and I use relies on them, and that is China's Trump card-pun completely intended.

The big Wigs in China would scoff at the tweet, knowing Trump's financial track record they don't need to heed his warnings.

Trump can do nothing, there is a little thing called outsourcing, using Microsoft? American company, computer built in Malaysia. Using an iPhone? Apple American, device made in China. The list goes on.

Personally, I think anyone who thinks China is the bees knees, should move there and let the rest of us live in peace.

It isn't like China is full or anything. There's entire cities that have been built and are just sitting there empty, waiting for all the comrades to come fill them up...

Instead of trying to Communize the west, why not just go to where all the other Comrades live, it would be much easier than spending all that energy trying to overthrow western society.

Currently, north East Wyoming has some of the highest grade rare earth elements in North America and mining is currently under development.

From 1940 to 1990, the United States produced and mined its own rare earth minerals. Mountain Pass mine in California was the biggest resource in the country.

Until the 1980s the U.S. was one of the world’s largest producers. China has increased production by more than 500% since 1990 due to its substantial deposits and cheap labor.

Interesting that America was one of the largest producers until the 90s when our government decisions to openly trade with China began to progress.

Seems like Trump actually holds the Trump card because China's REE production would drop dramatically if they don't have a buyer due to trade wars and tariffs.

That's actually 100% inaccurate. The official MAGA is manufacture in the good ole US of A. There are ample Chinese made hats, but that's why Trump is pissing in China's Wheaties with them continuing to ignore international law an intellectual property!

While it would be nice to see China stop stealing everyone's patents and to stop manipulating their currency to stick it to the US and others but we all know they wont.

Please tell me your not supporting China in this move because that's like rewarding the Criminal who just broke into your house and stole everything of value you cherished so much.

China must be punished. Especially when they are using their new money to try and seal off the whole region around them. I support cutting them off entirely for a few weeks, then see how fast they crumble.

Its called tariffs.
US corporations moved manufacturing to China, cheaper to produce in China, less regulations etc, then they ship products back to the USA.
Trump imposes tariffs on goods from China.
Trump then tells US firms move back to USA.

Socialist whingers have a meltdown.

Trump isnt the crazy one.

He wants to create more US jobs, wants manufacturing etc to return, has restarted lots of steel production, has already created millions of jobs.
Wants to have checks and balances for people entering the USA, keeping you safe.
Wants fair and balanced trade deals that dont short change the USA.

But Democrat losers oppose all that?

Any country would be lucky to have a leader who wanted to do so much positive for his country and people.
