Killing people is wrong.

I'm disappointed that you disagree.

Sadly some people just can’t be trusted to live in civilised society, murderers, rapists, pedophiles spring to mind.

If it was revenge I wanted then it would be either flaying alive or solitary confinement till they die.

A quick execution to me is just a way of taking out the trash, if these people can’t be trusted in society then what is the point in society wasting resources on keeping them alive.

I appreciate that sounds callous but unless your willing to have a rapist or mass murderer live next door to you you’re a hypocrite.

People talk about for profit prison system, but dont realize that having so many life long inmates is a large part of the cause.

Are you kidding me? Abuse at the hands of guards is rampant in our prison system. I suggest you compare US prisons to Swedish prisons and then compare recidivism rates.

For the ones that believe the death penalty is wrong.

Here is but one example.

Man too old to hurt anyone is let out of prison, only to kill again.

If the victim was one of my loved ones, someone would have some "splaining" to do.

A few more examples

And there's plenty of examples of people that were found guilty and executed that were later exonerated.

How do think Johnny Garrett's family feels?

Your logic is somewhat confusing. You compare killing someone who has raped and murdered to an abortion. Taking the life of an innocent child compared to a disgusting POS to society. Strange logic. I guess society should spend 60K a year taking care of a murderer but should also be responsible to murder a child. Sounds like New York where declawing a fricken cat is against the law but third trimester delivered child can be killed. Amazing.

Many times those cases involve a prosecutor who is running for re-election or need a win no matter what. Those people need to be held accountable. Judges should override death penalty push for circumstantial evidence cases. When DNA is positive the connection irrefutable the death penalty is adequate punishment in murder and murder rape cases.

The stay on federal executions was because OBUMMER wanted lethal injection reviewed as a means of terminating life. Their were problems at the time and the method was being questioned. I think hanging and firing squad should be used as 100% of the time it works.

If someone acted in a way that aided a foreign power to war with the US and evidence was provided to convict someone... I would agree with treason.

We'll have to see. But a tweet isn't doing it for me.
