You didn’t ask for that. You just asked for anything predating TR on Oxford grooming in 2011.

Tommy was discussing grooming gangs and the police covering for them I. 2011 at least

He wa discussing police allowing these gangs to get away with horrendous crimes in the mid 2000s

I don’t know if he was the first

But I know when he made his claims he was called a liar, and these claims were ignored by almost the entirety of the uk media

If people want to pretend that he wasn’t discussing this before it was mainstream, and wasn’t called a liar and ignored then so be it

Can you at least not lie when discussing this?

I said

Tommy specifically addresses how Muslim sex gangs have been drugging girls and raping them and the police and council were aware but did nothing for twenty years

Can you show me other people saying this in 2011”

So no, I did not move the goal post

Did the bbc article mention the police covering up for grooming gangs?

No

So I’m not moving the goal post

Yes if only instead of shouting they would have personally attacked the rapists and the cops that allowed the rapes to occur as you suggested

OK. TR is as honest as the day is long and certainly has never been convicted of any criminal offence for violence, fraud, drug possession or public order. He is certainly not a racist and became a member of the National Front only by accident and of course the EDF was in no way a racist organisation.

In fact the very sun shines out of his bottom.

Happy now?

Oh, about his fake name:

The name Tommy Robinson is a pseudonym taken from a prominent member of the "Men In Gear" (MIG) football hooligan crew, which follows Luton Town Football Club.[36] The member named Tommy Robinson wrote two books about his 25 years of hooliganism

Like I say, nice guy all round. Bless him.

It's been well known that the police and social services et al turned a blind eye to the abuse that was going on. This was partly aided by:
- A fear of being branded racist and "culturally" discriminatory, an accusation that was habitually thrown about in the recent past, and which allowed this type of abuse to go unchallenged. Incidentally, the fear of being called a racist has also enabled some of these backward communities to perpetuate their poor treatment of women generally.
- The fact that the victims were usually "below the radar". Out of sight and out of mind. Too much bother. They were vulnerable victims and targeted for that reason.

As it was, once the police grew some balls a decade ago, many of these abusive sex gangs have been blown open. There has been a long list of trials and investigations. Tommy Robinson has been opportunistic in his exploitation of this situation. He's not telling us anything we don't know.

The main characteristic of these gangs is (as stated earlier) a predominance of men from, or with roots in Pakistan and Bangladesh, with a smattering of other nations, such as Afghanistan. These are Muslim countries. It’s also a fact that these people were sheltered by their communities, and allowed to conduct their crimes without community challenge. Another characteristic of the gangs was the targeting of vulnerable while girls and women, a fact which has been raised in the trials as especially racist. A bizarre twist.

Well, they did attack the Police.

Probably not the same ones responsible for ignoring what those beasts got up to all the same.

Just like so many of the aspects that surround Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, Tommy Robinson, Andrew McMaster, Paul Harris, Wayne King, Stephen Lennon, their hatred is rather misplaced.

Still not got a clue why some Muppets waving an American flag, far as I'm aware you don't have any dogs in this fight, Tommy being about American as Jellied Eels .

As usual, you have summed this up accurately and very concisely.

TR (or whatever his name is) has just jumped on a bandwagon to push his own deeply unpleasant agenda. He is not a force for good and deserves no credit, far from it.

Well it takes a special hypocrite to complain about Islamophobia and then smear Christianity

Whatever this is well off topic

Tommy is in jail

So enjoy your celebration

And don’t worry about those pesky officials that let the rapists go on for three decades

As long as we get all the people locked up complaining about them , then problem solved

How far you have fallen, cant see the wood for the brown people, the rape gang were guilty and Tommy was guilty, but lets focus on the brown people, your so far away from making a sensible argument its untrue

He was telling you that police were complicit in these Muslims gangs crimes since the mid 2000’s and with grooming specifically since 2011

The video of Andy Norfolk posted on this thread shows that he and the London Times were shocked when they broke the story of the polices complicity in 2012

You may not like tommy, but he was talking about this problem before it was mainstream knowledge and was ignored and called racist

Btw Norfolk says he and the times were both called racist as well when they first reported the story

I know

It’s weird of me to be concerned about girls being raped and officials covering up for it if I’m not British

And to be concerned the uk ag announced that all Uk citizens better watch posting opinions about crimes in social media else they made be found guilty

If he jumped on a bandwagon then you will have no problem posting people saying what he said before him

I mean of course there were people

The families of the rapes

It’s just the police treated them like criminals, and almost everyone ignored them

The police were "complicit" in these crimes, were they?

I think that you should check what that word actually means.

As has been pointed out by another poster, the police certainly lacked the "balls" to do anything about this, but complicit? - no.
