The rollout of 5G is another great example of how our federal health regulatory agencies have been completely compromised by big powerful corporations. You would think with more than 10,000 peer-reviewed studies showing clear danger with regards to electromagnetic radiation overdose, something our planet is experiencing, that these technologies would be required to go through some safety testing. The truth is, if they went through any type of safety testing there is no way they would be approved. The studies that have already been published show clear links to neuropsychiatric disorders, reduced sperm count, brain damage and cancer among other serious ailments. The science is quite clear.

I know this stuff can be considered doom porn, but it is interesting nonetheless. I post this as informative and not from a stump top yelling "be scared!" I do personally have concerns about the issue, for there is much uncertainty it seems.
Any cell towers techs on these boards? I'd like to hear additional input. Of course, I guess one could risk their job with any critique, so silence is understandable too I suppose.

There was a story of firemen protesting the placement/proximity of towers to their stations, and here is the President of Los Angeles County Firefighter Union.

Additional concerns specifically regarding Chinese company Huawei and security issues. I am sure the Chinese are putting safety and health as a priority This company is aggressive in dominating a market that will be so dominant, in general, in our future. I think their aggressiveness fuels the competitiveness internationally and that may be a reason we are rushing to get into the race, via Musk and SpaceX.

The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on national security, intellectual property, and other legal issues related to the roll out of 5G technology throughout the U.S. The director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and the State Department’s top cybersecurity official talked about issues raised by Chinese technology company Huawei and its push to dominate the worldwide market for 5G technology equipment. They talked about security issues related to Huawei products and about the efforts by other companies like Nokia and Ericsson to provide similar technologies with greater adherence to data safety protocols. Then, three academic experts talked about ways the U.S. and its businesses could thwart Chinese threats. close

10,000, OK. You'll have no problem providing links to just ten of those studies....

I saw a Verizon commercial last night.
They specifically said 5g will be used by doctors to cure cancer.

Not even joking

Fair question, I just googled it and Here are some of the articles I believe.
And more specifically

ETA: For me personally, This testimony from Dr. Sharon Goldberg struck the most concern and value.

Yes he has a book too, but that doesn't necessarily mean he has no information of value.

Doublespeak perhaps?

Verizon Claims 5G Will Help Fight Cancer
Hmmm, well I do think the connectivity and speed will be of benefit to numerous technologies including medical, but I am still concerned with residual effects and uncertainties regarding safety.

But but my 4g isn’t fast enough with average download speeds of around 30mbs I need to download instantly because I live a world where everything needs to be done yesterday.

It been proven that microwave radiation that 5g uses doesn’t cause the molecules that make up organic matter to to zip about really quickly thus heating it up and making pastry go really soggy! Or have strange arcing effects on gold plated pots. Nothing to worry about having powerful microwave transmitters nearby.

5G will have a short shelf life. It won't be around for 30 years and probably not even 10. This guy is an idiot who can't see two feet in front of his face.

What is going to die is 5G and his job of installing it in less than a decade.

I tend to agree with you, though maybe not on the same level

PureLIFI

Light becomes data

Imagine a world where every light connects us with unprecedented data and bandwidth.

Imagine LiFi... LiFi uses light to send wireless data embedded in its beam. A LiFi enabled device converts the beam of light into an electrical signal. The signal is then converted back into data. The device sends back data using invisible light. LiFi is high speed bi-directional and fully networked light communications. We are ready to bring LiFi to the world. Are you?

Invisible light is it? That’s some stealthy ninja light right there!

I suppose it’s just a wireless version of fibre optics? Do you you know what frequency it operates on?

Installers don't understand the technology they are installing at any level best required to make such claims.

They climb towers and have large balls, and screw hardware on at the top. I know because I work with them.

Do you think wifi in general will be gone, or will it just become 10 or 20G. You could be right because at the rate tech is evolving, who knows what will be around the next corner. I know the internet of everything is coming and seeing the recent efforts of Huawaii and SpaceX deployments of satellites around the globe makes me think the idea of wi-fi will be around fer a while.

This guy is an idiot who can't see two feet in front of his face.

Yea robots or drones will probably build /service towers in the near future. That's a bit of harsh comment("idiot") on the technician, but oh well,to each their own. Granted he is being a little dramatic, but I think he believes what he says . I hope some other tower technicians may chime in.

Well that surprises me a bit, I would think a technician would have a fair amount of "understanding" with what they were working with, but I'm a landscaper and artist, so what do I know? ha He sounds like he knows the specs, but I guess we all are just speculating at this point on any potential dangers. I appreciate your input and thanks for chiming in.

This is how they get ahead of it. Make all search results relevant to 5G curing cancer, as opposed to causing it.

You don’t need other technicians to chime in, just look up microwave radiation and you can decide for yourself how safe it is.

I don't know about all the potential dangers of EMF, but I looked up how much energy these 5G FR2(24Ghz and higher, aka the mmWave) cells put out.
And it's not alot, outputs for outdoor cells vary from 200 to 20,000 mW. Or 0.2 to 20 Watts Wiki Source

1 Watt equals 1 Joule per second. At standard atmospheric pressure the energy required to raise 1 kg of water from 19.5˚C to 20.5˚C is 4182 J.

Lot of 5G doom porn lately. I think we need to go back to little birdies that carried messages on their limbs or maybe when horsies delivered the mail.
