2) Prosecutors immediately announced they were going to name Flynn as a co-conspirator in that case.

3) The judge, just as immediately, bitch-slapped the prosecutor and told him he can't do that.

Just because it is an article from a year ago does not mean it has no meaning... or that the guy in it is innocent!
