To begin with, I Don't Know for sure,

but, my sources have told me after I contacted them that the concern is for Antarctica, a discovery has been made along with a break through in translation... thats all they would tell me and stopped communicating when I asked for more.

Ladies and gentlemen, I will take full responsibility for being snookered if thats the case.

My understanding is the sub, a deep submersible, only caught fire but they put the fire out but not after 14 Russian sailors were killed. Somehow, the sub made it back to port. I'm looking for that article and will post it when I find it...

Russian Navy Research Submarine Catches Fire, Killing 14

This is the submarine accident that Putin (and maybe Pence/Trump) is reportedly meeting about. According to article, the sub was "not armed or powered by a nuclear reactor." Russian Navy has had ALOT of problems lately.

A Russian military submarine designed to map and study the seafloor, but not armed or powered by a nuclear reactor, caught fire and killed 14 sailors, the Russian military said on Tuesday.

It is used for research and clandestine missions.
