That statement was a waste of time.

Just more quotes for CNN to use in out-of-context headlines.

Nothing different than what was already said. No collusion, no obstruction, if you don't like it go fund your personal investigation and good luck with that.

Now where's Silly to tell us what Mueller ACTUALLY meant. She seems to read people better.

Well, that didn't change anything.

It settled nothing, the left will take what they want from it, make their own conclusions and interpretations, and so will the right, the president and administration.

The cloud remains over the president.

The #show continues...

I understand the argument but others are only going to see the we could not charge him anyway lines.. Personally I could careless at this point. I want to see what the Barr investigation turns out, and I look forward to all the awkward questions that will be asked when Muller is brought in front of Congress.. Its not going to be good for those that started all this.

His statements typically trend that way.

The man has been consistent through most of his career. He runs tight lipped teams that look for areas they can press underlings on to flip on bigger fish. He'll stand by his work with stubbornness.

Many predicted this wasn't going to amount to much.

the statement allows for no daylight between the AG and Mueller
Mueller "appreciated" Barr releasing as much of the report as he did, Mueller using the term "good faith" to describe the AG's efforts.
Had Mueller disagreed with the AG's findings he would have stated it.

they can attempt spin but there is nothing left to spin now...........

congressional dems can attempt to impeach but mueller did not recommend charging crimes......hard to impeach with no crime, even when congress gets to decide what that word means

Jesus Christ.

Could the man be any more vague ?

The only thing I learned today is why he doesn’t speak in public much.

He stutters and yammers to the point of where he sounds like Nancy Pelosi .

He was clear in this speech that he has no intention of going before congress on this matter.

Ya he probably is already home throwing the suitcases in his car and heading to the airport ready for a nice long vacation on an undisclosed private island somewhere. He's done.

To be honest, I think it's kind of refreshing in today's political climate.

He's one of the old school "the proof is in the pudding types", he doesn't get off on stirring things up... More of a leave the house with his thermos and get to work. While there are certainly points in his career that call ethics into question, I can admire someone who lets their work speak for them.

Stirring things up is exactly what he did. He might as well have not said anything at all, because he really didn't say anything. All he did was provide some new sound bites for cable news.

It would be the most boring congressional interview I could ever predict. That man wouldn't answer any loaded or guiding questions, and that's likely the majority of what would be asked.

You and I see it differently.

He buried it and stood by his work.

Meh, he is resigning and going back to private life.

Defeated, the old dog slinks back to his doghouse, time to sleep...

He is the 'old school' type that has put and kept innocent men in prison when he was well aware that they were innocent.
See the Whitey Bulger cases.
He is swampy.
