ATS is way too right-wing now

for a lack of a better word -- lefties, that once inhabited this very place in abundance, have all either went into hiding, changed their identities, or have left this place for good. For reasons that should be obvious to everyone by now and is to nobody's fault but their own.

Maybe this is why the lefties left.. You lack introspection and self-criticism to see from the perspective for others so you say "well they were mind-controlled idiots anyway"...

I see a HUGE lack of trump-supporters criticizing trump in areas where Obama was criticized, in which trump is increasing it more-so. Like drone strikes, or golf for example.

Stop spamming the boards with "TRUMP IS AWESOME" and maybe people won't complain about the lack of political diversity.

This thread is just one example. A thread that attempts to explain why there is a lack of leftists without any intellectual thought. Just more bias BS.

This is the kind of post that threads usually devolve into when they don't support the front page narrative, name-calling and strawmen.

People can disagree all they want, that's not the issue. Go into any thread that goes against the front page narrative and see how the more prominent members respond in them. The OP of those threads is usually outnumbered immediately by snarky comments and shaming. You can deny it all you want, it doesn't change the reality of the boards these days.

Leave ATS if you don't care anything about validation. I'll be waiting. We both know that's the reason people participate in forums such as these, too seek validation for their opinions.

If I only care about people liking my opinion then why exactly do you think I'm here? My opinion is not a popular one around here, obviously. Your argument doesn't make any sense when put into context.

Their MO is subtle infiltration. They aren't stupid, they've learned to adapt.

And this is the attitude that has led to the echo chamber that we call ATS. Dismissing alternate viewpoints with either insults or a cold shoulder to the point where you chase off alternative opinions little by little.

If I had to guess you are under the impression that the same couldn't be said for the opposite viewpoint around here at all? As in infiltrators have made their way in and swayed the boards in a certain direction. Look at my first reply in this thread to get an idea of what I'm talking about. I'm guessing that's totally impossible in your opinion?

I'd say both sides have their infiltrators regardless of what the site is as long as politics are being discussed.
