BARACK OBAMA PRAISES GRETA THUNBERG: I WANT TO CELEBRATE THE COURAGEOUS YOUNG LEADERS STEPPING UP TO SAVE

Does it really matter that she has Asperger?
Her message is clear: Governments of the world, clean up your act or else.
Of course she doesn't hold a science degree, but that's also the case for quite a few adults as well wouldn't you say? She's conveying what many are thinking, both young and old. The fact that she dares, and is allowed, is telling. Her simple, straight forward message holds more weight than if your everyday, lying politician had conjured up some vague bull crap.
In a lot of ways she would seem to have a lot in common with Trump.

Perhaps someone can correct me, but the only "novelty" here seems to be her age, and perhaps the aspergers.. But she is saying the same thing as anyone else pushing the same narrative. Probably exactly the same thing her parents say about the topic, coincidentally.

So when you say politicians just what are they suppose to do? Much of what we desire to do to clean up our act is based on technology and as the car replaced the horse that became a ecological nightmare so will the car be replaced, but if technology isn't there yet then that replacement will be a rather painful move.
Painful as in make gas cost more than what people can afford, have families move into 300 sq ft apartments, dictate food consumption on the population...so on and so on...Are we ready for that?
This all gets rather ugly when one starts to talk about heavy carbon tax on everyone, limit everyone's carbon foot prints, cull the herd etc.

Unlike me, she's been coached and trained to ensure maximum brainwashing of the cultists hearing her words.

They can start by being a bit more brave and up front perhaps? Too many times i see them dancing around an issue not daring to step on lobbyist toes, only caring for their own career. Don't get me wrong, many want to make a difference but they don't seem to get through.
Now, I agree with not rushing ahead with new solutions before they're even invented, or proven to be worthy. Are electric cars really that clean as opposed to the traditional gasoline hogs? Apparently not if you take into account the whole process of building one. It just seems to me that oil will still rule for a long time out of pure greed and power, not only out of necessity.
One thing that can be done is drastically reduce the use of plastics in industries in general. I saw a hardware store recently that had gone back to the old ways, ditching small bags for EVERYTHING and only had their products in loose weight. That's an example of a good strategy politicians should encourage more. Another thing that could be done is give money if you turn in plastic, like a deposit-refund system, but for a range of plastic articles.

Do you reckon that the belief in science based analysis of climate data is a cult?
Or I have I misinterpreted you?
