Guess I'm a different kind of parent then some then.
Because the last thing I would be thinking about while killing the bastard is if I served time or not.
But hey, we're all different...

Right?
I'm not a violent person but if I saw someone do that I'd be pretty inspired to run them down and beat the ever-present dog @$%# out of them.
Haul me off to jail naow.

I think the kid was there with his mother and she was there, but it happened so suddenly she didn't have time to really react. That was my understanding.
I mean, it's so unthinkable. What do you do? How prepared are you for the thought that a total stranger is just going to out of the blue walk up and chuck your kid over the railing. If you were both standing right by it, there isn't much time to process what's happening, that, yes, it's going down, and react.

Quoted for truth
You must not have children
Typical for such beta behavior
Can’t imagine a lot of women are attracted to a man who could watch something like that happen and stand there and do nothing.
Saddest part is the pride you take in you cowardice. You see it as a virtue.
You know nothing of the violence good men had to partake in to make a world comfortable enough to produce “men” like you.

Actually, the member in question does and regularly sends mixed signals about what he would and would not do. I don't think he knows, but the real truth is that if all of us are honest, only a few of us with actual combat experience have an inkling of how we might actually respond in such a situation.
I'd like to think I could respond well, but I don't know, not really.

Look I'm not going to argue with you.
I'm just saying..you kill a kid like that don't be surprised if you get bumped over the railing as well..
But i do hear your logic, and I understand it..
