I thought that about Trump during the 2016 election, but now I realize that this Presidency will not be considered a WIN for himself if he does not get the full 8 years. He will not back out or down. Most President's who only do 4 years are remembered as lame ducks...that is not anything that Trump will want in history.

Please note in 2016 everything you said was true, he had "bad press" but the American Citizens are capable of seeing through the elite media. We've had enough and are able to look into things ourselves, and the more "bad press" he gets, the less and less the American Citizens believe their lies. The big positive for me in all this is Americans are finally able to research topics for themselves and not just believe everything from said from the lying media.

It looks as though you will just have to wait until 2024 to get your wish Silly.

Perhaps, you are the one listening to news. I simply watch the live feeds and make up my own mind on what is asked, said, and provided. New laws or regulations all can be read on the .gov websites. I don't need someone else to tell me what I should think.

Listening to my actual representatives, it has become very apparent who is speaking with duplicity and it is very embarrassing. Admittedly, those on the east and west coast seem to keep forgetting how and why Trump was elected in the first place.

Here in middle America, we don't rush about and simply read headlines and watch snippets. We may have a slower pace, but that provides us sometime to actually research and make intelligent decisions.

He's already got my vote. I'd even go so far as to wear a MAGA hat but to be honest I deal with enough stupid stuff at my job, I really don't want to deal with it outside of work on top of that.

Let that sink in for a moment. I'm a Trump supporter who for the most part just keeps quiet with most people because I don't want to deal with the emotional backlash. Now how many other quiet Trump supporters do you think are out there?? How many other people may act like they're not for him, but really are??

My point being is that none of us will know until the election season, but from things I've seen and read it seems he has a good chance at getting more votes this time around than he did when elected. Everyone who keeps thinking that he won't win again is just setting themselves up for another "fall to the knees and cry to the sky while pondering all the violent ways to attack those who MAGA" fit again.

I could be wrong, though, and I would be ok with that as long as who does win is at least a worthwhile candidate. So far I haven't seen one. /shrug

The only embarrassment is thinking Trump will lose in GOP Primary. I'm still curious to see the DEM Primaries because at this point I think Trump wins reelection easily, never mind the GOP Primary. We'll have to see who the Dem Candidate is, and what kind of actual policies (Not I HATE TRUMP!) they'll come up with.

Did you see Bernie's Town Hall on Fox last night? Almost everything he said was against Trump. That's gonna be their platform.

I think he will take Michigan again in 2020. Midterm elections brought out a lot of democrats to vote on rec marijuana, thus we got saddled with some real dubious Dems who have been extremely embarrassing and pissing us Michiganders off.

The general election will bring that 2016 force of voters forward again, since many did not go to vote in 2018.
