Seeking asylum is legal. trump wants to make it illegal. Says its a scam.

And anyone who actually thinks we are full are just out of their minds. Could be the most ridiculous thing he's ever said.
And he says a lot of ridiculous things.
Well, I think you may got us...if anyone knows anything about saying ridiculous things, it's you.

However, I'll just disagree with you.

We have a serious problem with illegal immigration, my quarral isn't with the POTUS thoughts on Asylum, in my book he does what he wants, how he wants for the everyday legal American citizen 😗

The climate is not warm enough for them here, so it's a no-brainer.

nobody has the right to free anything, they have the right to work for whatever they want, and can get it with enough hard work.

A BS statement you made there.

For what you're saying to be accurate the system needs to offer EVERYONE a decent living. All it can offer a lot of people is minimum wage with no hope of any better.

Anyway, enough rambling, i'm off to Venezuela for a better life.

I believe that post was referring to common knowledge market economics. More folks than homes means a housing shortage. Housing demand goes up, so does the price of real estate or rentals.

Who says there are more folks than homes? Do we have a housing shortage? Because construction is jobs.
And what does that have to do with immigration then?

You Donald Trump - not the starving immigrants trying to gain entrance to this country, to the American dream, are the real problem
- The real problem is you, and every other greedy capitalist who values money more than people and Human life.

Being an immigrant myself from a socialist paradise embraced by the lefts loud mouths I can tell you that is complete BS. Economic systems don't f people up, people f people up. The problem is not capitalism the problem is how the incentives are setup by greedy politicians on BOTH sides. You think socialism will change the greediness of politicians on both sides and their conflict of interests? Wake the f up.

Also I didn't vote for trump , nor I'm I religious, nor am I a republican, but man the LEFT is making extremely hard to not vote for him.

Here is an idea , forget about the orange man and how bad he is . Concentrate on what you bring to the table and STFU about socialism, or increasing gov't involvement on anything until you work on decreasing conflict of interest in DC. It makes 0 sense to give the gov't more power and money as long as they are run by people riddled with conflict of interest.

So instead of bad mouthing trump concentrate on what you propose to shrink conflict of interest in DC which is the real problem.

From what I have read, illegal immigrants seem to have been stealing those construction jobs from legal citizens...so not necessarily productive for our citizens or country.

Housing market will not increase unless American citizens are employed and able to rent/buy said real estate.

Edit add: We have a shortage of affordable housing, thus why homelessness has increased.

Land Developers tend to act with fuzzy ethics, and because of this have earned a bad name.

but without them, many of the things we enjoy in the most intimate ways, like our homes, would never have come to be. People yearning to make the next big development is what gave us homes with open floor plans, bedrooms, etc...instead of the one room shacks of the pre-1940's.

If you enjoy urban life, thank a developer for putting in the effort to give you your urban life. And if you think displacing poor people to build commerce is bad...take that up with your local governments.

Look, one can criticize both rapacious real estate developers AND excessive mass migration. Being concerned about unsustainable illegal immigration isn’t automatically trump support.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

Also, criticizing excessive illegal immigration is not “anti immigrant.”

Finally, while many immigrants are actual refugees according to legal definitions, arguably most are not. Economic migration is not considered a right under any legal code for any country, to my knowledge.

Many of these immigrants aren’t starving at all, per your point.

Oh please. I’m a liberal environmentalist. You sound just like conservatives who claim that the earth isn’t overpopulated because everyone on earth can fit in Texas. That ignores all kinds of science and analytics regarding resource use per capita and impact.

No it can’t environmentally. Dude, literally the United Nations and liberal position is that excepting some serious advances in tech and changes in sustainable practices, we are already overpopulated. It’s estimated that at current resource use and impact we are using up something like 1.2 sustainable earths, which means we are 20% beyond sustainability right now!

I’m amazed to see you guys making traditionally conservative, anti sustainable arguments just to support your immigration narrative.

Look...... As someone working in the bankruptcy field, it's common knowledge that real estate developers are the scum of the earth, worthless pieces of little dog turds that represent everything about the human civilization that needs to be flushed down the toilet while their family watches.

Look, I understand that may have been a little harsh, but these a$$holes buy up all of the available vacant land as fast as they can and turn it all into condos, subdivisions and apartments as fast as they can; they don't want to build any actual HOMES, that would be too "buyer friendly"...... no...... they want to stuff everyone in condos that sell for twice the price as an actual home, where they can collect HOA fees of hundreds of dollars per month for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and foreclose on people and kick them out of their $200k Condos over $1500 in missed HOA payments, and do the same with their $800k sub homes with the same HOA fees.... only difference is that they all remain empty because nobody can afford them.... Then, the housing market goes up because of these little spawns of Satan because of the high listing prices where everyone else gets drowned out of the market when they're looking to buy.

Should I even go into the homes that go for sale that people can actually afford which are bought up as soon as they hit the market, have 10k worth of remodeling and cleanup done, and the flipped within weeks for at least 50-60k more than they were listed at the previous month (which again, drive up markets and sit vacantly since nobody can afford them)?

All of this eventually and inevitably leading to the housing market bubble-pop (and being one of the primary factors in our crashing market, second only to predatory mortgage/equity lending).

Look, I'm all against illegal immigration, but I would take 100 illegals in my town before I'd let one scumbag, POS, Satans' little helper real estate developer come in.
