Semantics yeah OK. What is the original meaning of pakeha....and be honest... Its a derogatory word and not fair to be honest. Was that shooter pakeha? See what I'm getting at? Paheka is used these days to mean white/foreigners/others not Maori. Is that true? And Maori means "ordinary" does it not?

Apparently it was an Aussie who had moved here from Australia. I'm just around the corner and down the road from the second mosque. Police have blocked off the Avenue and will be there for some time. I have to move over the weekend and I don't need this stress. This is stressing the whole city and nation. As it so happens I live next to Muslims from Africa.

Oh yeah I know...been living here in Australia for 7 years now. Thought it was amusing to jump to such a specific label instead of just a terrorist that was born here.

It wasn't a pissing contest mate. That poster made it clear that he supported the shooters actions then went on a rant about Islam. It's rather suspicious and it makes me think he might inhabit the same circles as those attackers. I was simply calling him out on his nonsense.

I am otherwise glued to the TV here in Oz, my wife and I are in shock at whats happened and I am personally feeling rather ashamed that at least one of the attackers was Australian. As I said to Agitated before, we Aussies stand with our Kiwi brothers and sisters.
