I hopped on there earlier as I'm selling a motor, it said the system was down for maintainance.

It's back up and working now (Western Europe)

Been down here all day.

Wouldn't be great if the AI they are using started to take over , I read they had to shut down the AI because it started writing it's own code not to long ago lol

Southwest Michigander too...mine is down today though. I am assuming others here went down 3-4 hours ago as well, since my newsfeed shows that is when all my contacts stopped posting.

Any new comments say failed plus any likes or other emoticon responses appear to work, but as soon as you leave the posts they are all erased.

I wouldn't normally take notice of FB being down, but sigh, thought I would respond out of courtesy to all those giving me birthday wishes.

Facebook mobile and web have both been down for me in Wisconsin (not that that matters much) since early this morning. I think I'll just delete the app until Lent is over, gotta give something up!

That just reminded me that when I 1st got to work today we had a email saying do not trust any of our email to call the customer before we open it because Gmail had an Issue , I bet this does turn out to be some kind of attack .

hahahhahaha talking about sensitive things with some friends, thought i was locked, but indeed i get a message stating that is a mandatory maintenance and can take a few hours to come back.
