Facebook down all over the World

What do you guys think ? I'm not a big fan but it's been down all morning and not just a state or area seems like it's out all over the World , Ive never seen a outage like this in the 10 or so years I've been on . And it's pretty hush hush no one is saying anything You think they got hacked ? Instagram out also owned by Facebook .

We could only hope. Facebook and other social media sites are part of the problem in this country today. I'll be honest, I got a little spark of excitement when I saw this. Especially since I had a message on messenger and when I clicked on it, earlier today, it kept loading and never came through.

They must have a partial system go out because Instagram is out also in major areas . I bet it's the Russians !!

Runs fine here. I heard only certain accounts were taken off line so the FBI could install surveillance ware.

The funny thing about being in IS or IT is that things break..Sometimes due to maintenance, sometimes due to hardware, often bugs and more often then not due to human error or process failure. It's very infrequent that it is anything nefarious.

Unless you are a CT then every outage is a hushed up hack.

Oh some engineer triggered a spanning tree loop? Nah..Anonymous FTW!

It's probably something dumb like upgrading cat facial recognition algorithms to scan your photos.

I've noticed issues with instagram. It's either not loading, or loading very slowly.
