Actually it’s going to guarantee free speech for the left and protect free speech for conservatives/ conservative speakers .

The constitution does guarantee free-speech . But with funding being a issue here. There is a much larger club protecting free-speech. It’s called the almighty dollar .

So, this is going to include free-speech such as... LGBT+ curriculum? pro-abortionism? is this going to protect these "Marxist teachers" and "cultural-Marxists" studies? would this protect schools teaching safe-sex education? would this protect classes in that include pro-transgender gender studies? anti-religion courses?

or is this just a way to pander to the base who whine about "muh free-speech"

anyone who believes that the "constitution" or the "president" grants you the right or privilege of "free speech" is a slave to their own mind

Yes it would protect those.
Being exposed to a variety of opinions on subjects should be part of the Educational process. Eliminate echo chambers of hearing only one side.

You may not agree with said opinions, but you should be able to be presented those opinions as long as they are not presented violently. The old Voltaire Free Speech arguement.

Are you opposed to Conservative voices being allowed public platforms to present their ideas?

The more I think about this move. The more I’m sure that Trump has had this EO in his pocket for quite a while . Good ideas are great. But playing those ideas at the right time can make them formidable .

I’ve been looking at his health too. By this time Obama was already getting gray hair .

Trump still hasn’t missed a beat. All you have to do is watch one of his rallies to know he still enjoying himself .

Hell I half expect him to show up at one wearing one of these .

I don't think we have to worry about Trumps hair turning gray, unless his stylist runs out of coloring.

His energy level seems as high as ever.

Are you opposed to trans folk giving talks to kids? It works both ways.
I'm not opposed to anyone except pedo's giving talks...# does this mean a pedo group could demand to give talks?. I dunno just asking.

Seriously, are you implying there's been some kind of long term devious plan to "take over" the higher education system?

There has been since the inception of education. It's purpose is to provide a citizenry that the is useful to the controllers.

If the choose to attend a event, they should not be stopped or blocked or prevented from having said event.

If it is a mandated requirement by the school to attend, then no.

Last I heard, pedophilia was a crime, is it not? Correct me if I am wrong.

I wouldn't call it grandstanding,
But this very well could be a nice campaign strategy to rile up the left and have them come together, against the very thing that makes us the best country in the world.
The more the far left freaks out about freedom and justice, the more votes he gathers up for re-election.

This is excellent.

I hope they also fund understanding the constitution 100% as well, since it's the highest law in our land. And while they're at it fund critical thinking, because emotional reaction cry-babies seems to be the norm these days.

How do you mean this executive order should be extended to primary schools? Do you have an example of primary schools silencing free speech?

I doubt the left have any examples of Obama supporting students being singled out by the leaders of our educational institutions. So that leads me to believe this EO is necessary unless they can prove me wrong and link some examples.

I dont think institutions must provide a forum is part of the first amendment, even for the government, but college and universities must?

Private institutions do not have to. But if they are taking federal money they have to accept any strings attached to that money.

Which is wired, the government is saying you MUST have this speech, when the governments role in speech is to not do that.

That was done a long time ago silly. Trying to get it back is what is happening.

Free Speech on campus is already present?

I'm sorry, I tried to keep up with the left vs right battle that was going on, but this statement you made just completely jarred me.

Where is there truly free speech on any campuses? Speakers get shut down and turned away for their "Hate Speech" (conservative views), people can't wear certain clothing/accessories with any sort of political message because it violates others feelings so they are banned as well, or students told to remove them or go home, etc. (again, in any other circumstance, covered under freedom of speech unless you're on campus), people passing out little pocket constitutions getting shut down and fined, "Free Speech Zones" set up for protests to ensure as little people as possible hear any message (there's some more censorship... I could stop, but I REALLY want you to realize how baseless and ignorant that comment was), speakers and organizers on campus being charged fees above and beyond what other speakers (that fall in line with the faculty's message) are charged in an attempt to censor their ideas, peaceful protests that are met with officers pepper-spraying students that are sitting down and not a threat to anyone (and the officer getting awarded over 30k in "damages", that was a good one).

Come on, get real. Your hatred for the Orange one, just like most others, clouds your common sense and critical thinking skills.

That’s pretty much the same read I had . There are only two positions for them. Either shut up and don’t fight it or fight it and alienate people.

The former would anger their base and the latter would anger everybody else . I see no way Trump is going to lose on this one .

The example just the past week with the girl who
Couldn’t wear a Maga hat to school but all the obamalites and hilarites can wear whatever they want. The teen appeared on the Laura Ingraham show.

Or it could just be an attempt to stop things like that beat down of a conservative at Berkely. In fact that conservative guy appeared with Trump on Saturday at cpac. Way to cement his future.

Good point does a Christian school have to let gay folk give talks?.
I’m guessing only when they receive federal funding. But then for the most part I don’t think they are too
exclusive. I’m hoping that promoting murder after birth doesn’t fit the category though.
