New York (CNN Business) Amazon has apparently started removing anti-vaccine documentaries from its Amazon Prime Video streaming service. The move came days after a CNN Business report highlighted the anti-vaccine comment available on the site, and hours after Rep. Adam Schiff wrote an open letter to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, saying he is concerned "that Amazon is surfacing and recommending" anti-vaccination books and movies.
A recent search for "vaccine" on Amazon (AMZN) yielded a search page dominated by anti-vaccination content. Of the 18 books and movies listed on the search page, 15 contained anti-vaccination content.
Will it stop with vaccines? I very seriously doubt it.

the company can decide which products to sell
Phage, seriously, how is it that you appear almost instantly the moment someone posts an anti-vaccine related thread?
ATS has rules too. Don't like 'em? Go elsewhere.
Whether someone is pro or anti vaccine, there shouldnt be a prohibition on opinions, articles, alternative perspectives etc.

There is no prohibition on opionions, articles and alternative perspectives. Nothing could stop the anti vaccine crowd from setting up their own online store with content. In the exact same way amazon can decide for themselves what products they offer.

Do you think it correct that private companies have the right to edit and censor free speech.
They are not. They are making a commercial decision. They won't stock and sell this particular pseudo-science film, just like they don't stock porn. So in this regard, they do have the right not to engage in activities they deem outside of what they want to do.

You are endorsing non democratic censorship. Well done.
The anti-vaccine crowd are ignorant and don't understand science.
On the oft-cited autism link, there is no real evidence proffered by the ignorant, apart from poor statistical interpretation and misunderstanding of both vaccines and autism. It's a frustrating topic, like trying to explain to some moron that the earth ain't flat, or that just because you cannot see them with the naked eye bacteria exists, or etc., etc...
