This is nonsense.

Okay this is just complete wacko theorizing here but hear me out for a second. Picture this scenario:

Highly naive pop- punk airhead with serious conspiracy addiction somehow gains access to classified documents and video of alleged UFO encounter (or top secret weapons test if you prefer). He decides to leak this material via a popular conspiracy site. He's not very bright and does not think of the ramifications. He creates some kind of sloppy story about being a witness. He either meets up with a mysterious other account who helps him upload the video or perhaps already knows this person and they are working together. The video is widely criticized by forum members and his story has more holes than Swiss cheese. The whole thing quickly falls apart.

However having leaked actual classified information he is soon contacted by the authorities who detain and interrogate him. They offer him a deal - avoid prosecution by working for us in a long term intelligence operation involving a fake disclosure of the UFO reality. Or go to jail. The rock star takes their offer. Project TTSA gets underway.

But someone definetly have more data. There was FOUR vidoes of the nimtz, a powerpoint presentation, Sonor, and an official debrief of the events.

Probably because Zondo is NOT a fraud and what you see regarding these UAP's is actually happening? Does everyone here in this thread just think that TTSA is making all this stuff up? I mean, skepticism is great, and much needed, but denying what is right in your face, in order to nitpick paper work is strange to me.....

Speaking only for myself: UFOs are real. People see them all the time. I have seen them myself. I have no doubt about this.

But that doesn't mean TTSA is legit.

The two are not connected at all.

So is the issue here that TTSA is saying they got the video from the DoD, and we have a guy here talking about this same instance 12 years ago? Could both things not be true? Could this guy have been talking about the same thing, and then TTSA happened to come across this stuff on their own, 10 years later?

Thats everyones biggest gripe here? That someone had the balls to leak this in 2007? TFT is a hero, not a criminal. This stuff needs to be out in the open for everyone to see, not hidden behind government classification.

Sadly there is suddenly a PLETHORA of deliberate redirection noise in this thread so its hard to keep track.

I do think it is the same video.

I am not one to say I am right on anything, I don't care if I am, and accept I am often misinformed and probably barking up the wrong tree, but that is the nature of this subject matter.

I was stating the only thing I am right about is if there IS extended footage and other footage out there that is not declassified and part of the stolen 07 upload then anyone who has been involved in seeing it or handling it should be very concerned.

Other people think it's a scripted release, and that's ok , actually its kinda fun and I will probably head down investigation track soon.

This entire state of affairs when one group try to assert complete dominance over a field of research in order to control the drip feed makes the backlash hilarious, vicious at times, but mostly warranted.
TTSA said they don’t care what ufologists think they are going after new blood.... So a brutal bite back is exactly what they are deservedly getting now.

My advice has always been don't monetize disclosure

Should we assume someone on the email chain leaked it or someone else?

IDK, it seems legit on face value....but we dont really know much else about it. I guess in order to find out if its real, someone needs to ask Hal or Kit if they were actually involved in said conversation.

I'm trying to catch up and a bit confused, but hasn't it been discussed that Day was posting all over the net years ago, including his "fictional" book on the incident?

UAPs are 100% real it was documented on this site 12 years ago in 2007. REAL CLASSIFIED Debriefings were posted on this site describing an encounter that was later VERIFIED by the pilots in the FIRST NYT Article. So we can all be asured that YES ...the vidoes are real the event 100 did happen.

The argument/concern is the fact that TTSA has not been 100% transparent as to the provenance of the FLIR1 "Tic-Tac" video. Regardless, TTSA is doing a good service by moving the field of UFOlogy forward.
