Wise words from the mysterious James Greywood:

To be blunt TTSA unfortunately creates its own giggle factor & ammunition for others to use. No one serious can take some of this stuff seriously that comes from a mouth of one person who is most closely associated with it. Don't lose your own game from lack of self control.

Greywood

The tweet appears to have vanished with Mr Greywood??

How much mystery must we all suffer?

I have no idea who this mysterious Mr. Greywood is but I will point out that he tweeted this about the CIA and UFOs:

...which does not give me a lot of faith in his insider analysis.

Also one of the only non-UFO personalities he follows on Twitter is an infamous white supremacist.

Hi Arti, Miregman, CourseCatalog, Jukione, Piggsy, baablack, the gut, confusedbrit and others.....

There is a new source on twitter he/she seems like a genuine insider that has decided to come out after the DOD officially released their videos. I highly recommend reading his tweets....he/she is dropping very very juicy bread crumbs ...

This person is a DoD official.

James Greywood

Hiya, cellty. Waaay back in UAP-ology, ahem, when they were busted, certain of the "crew" would show up under anonymous monikers on various message boards and do damage control. Or I should say attempt damage control.

This 'new" guy sounds a lot like that, "Yeah, TTSA are clowns but this is still legit! And no alphabet soup here, really. Really, really, K?"

If you can find a similar video using the same type of FLIR as in the Nimitz FLIR video, that would be a better comparison, but that may be hard to find.

This one is a 2011 demo of military grade ATFLIR equipment from these days.

It contains a nice example of specular reflection off the nose of a distant jet:

At 0:16 only the tip of the nose is lit up. Underneath the clouds are visible by backscattered sunlight.
Then, as the jet proceeds, the whole nose starts to light up due to reflected sunlight, reaching its maximum luminosity at 0:23/0:24, and dimming down after that.
The same effect can be seen to a lesser degree on the body of the jet.

In the next section, at 0:28, you can see how the sides of the buildings lit by the sun really stand out. Probably by a combination of being heated by the sun and reflection.

I don't know how these guys expect to (allegedly) legitimize the UFO topic by appearing on this guy's show:

They were smart enough to target the blindly stupid brigade on Twitter, Beck is the natural progression for expansion into said target market.

Twitter was the perfect platform to launch shills and operatives masking as IT Girls and darling insiders of faux secrecy.
....But Thankfully, UFOlogy isn't Twitter, there are less than 1000 followers that salivate over interacting with them. It hosts a mixture of a 3-4 operations.

Every popular blue bird tweeting is the new Doty Tash twitching.

As for the new heavens gate type cults on the East Coast with Virginia farm boys hopping around chosen ones that say they are talking to angels (the Fallen more likely
). OK I guess Twitter is the perfect platform to recruit for them too.

Wait, wut?! I thought Lue said the Bible-thumpers housed in E Ring were decidedly not for aliens, errr, demons.

Talk about a nutter, those 2 better not tell Beck any key ‘buzzwords’; ole fire-and-brimstone Beck will have dropped a biblical prophecy anagram in a New York minute — I guess these 2 were absent during the ‘knowing your audience’ class.

Doh!! Postponed

Greenwald seems to think it was just public relations mate.

Suppose it does set precedents involving future FOIA research though.

Any thoughts on this?

So where better to start this 'socialisation process' than with right-wing conspiracy theorists like Glenn Beck?

I agree, Spock - not exactly a genius move by the Mellon Man.

Very use info for you Mirgaman:

1.) I'm going to adopt "OSD-AATIP" myself, it clearly differentiates the post BAASS contractor era "AATIP". The guys who write about this stuff seriously (not the conspiracy crowd) really need to be able to comprehend this differentiation.

2.) OSD-AATIP existed in a critical era of increased real world UAP incidents involving the services. In the last decade there was a large upswing in cases and no where for the branches to go besides OSD-AATIP. The branch liaisons would come to OSD-AATIP (Elizondo) for assistance

3.) Elizondo ran this OSD-AATIP by himself with little assistance and no actual budget. Despite this it was incredibly effective and assisted the services.

4.) It was not an official program (no funding), this is actually common with people who become "experts" in a certain field. They take something up and it goes into their portfolio to assist or deal with. Especially common with bizarre things like this across real world USG.

5.) The above is how Elizondo knew where the bodies are buried from the last decade. Believe it or not OSD is a different world from USN aviation. They normally do not talk. In this case they talked with Elizondo & shared information as Elizondo was the incognito UAP guy for DOD.

I love this James Greywood mystery guy!!!!!!

Mr. Greywood is reminding us that Elizondo probably had the same status as our venerable ufologist and all too conspicuous Nick Pope: a desk job in the corner of the room in the dark all by himself, studying…ufos?

The question is, as all this twitter banter implies: whether TTSA has begun a proliferation of interest in UFOs and what are the ramifications of that.

I don’t have the answer to those questions or an opinion as of now, but I do think that a better question might be, has TTSA been deliberately thrust on us to enliven a moribund ufology field?

Yeah I just watched the video..... It was brilliant....

Greenwald's take home is that this OFFICIAL release allows for a legal action compelling additional release.
