she must be incredibly naive if she thinks that her attitude will win her support from the government

She should be allowed to come back but only after the Syrian authorities have processed her. It's non of our business while she is overseas and breaking the law in a sovereign state.
She wants to be allowed to come back home

I could understand allowing someone like her to come back, given that she was just a schoolgirl when leaving.
This of course would depend on her mind set, attitude and the role she had played within ISIS. Truth is she is still the same and if it all hadn't went pear shaped she'd still be living quite happily supporting the Caliphate in any way she chose.
Her shallow hypocrisy shows when she makes the statement about seeing a severed head, she says, "I thought only of what he would have done to a Muslim woman if he had the chance,". Completely ignoring what the ISIS fighters do to captured women.
All she is concerned about is her situation and the fact that she is pregnant. Now she wants to come back and milk the system. She says, regards her unborn child, ""That's why I really want to get back to Britain because I know it will be taken care of - health-wise, at least,". It's a pity about the child but she's made her bed and it's abundantly clear that she'd still be lying in it if ISIS was still in the ascendancy.

Yes, but the Syrian authorities are a bunch of brutal scumbags on the same level as ISIS. 'Processing' her might be tantamount to torture.

Every single human being has done some “mistake” at some point in their life and “everyone” deserves a “second chance”.
Judge no one when you personally aware of your “own hidden and secret past”.
To keep ones happiness, one must keep its secret in life.
She should of done that.

She isn't fifteen now and her attitude is just the same as before. No regrets other than the Caliphate is all but gone for her. That makes all the difference.
