Russia uses Tomahawks that have fallen in Syria to improve the air defense system. Video
Two missiles were delivered to Moscow, their research involved Russian experts.
“Part of the missiles did not reach the targets due to technical problems Two of them, including the Tomahawk rocket, were delivered to Moscow,” said Sergei Rudskoy, Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
According to him, now they are being investigated by our specialists. The results of this work will be used to improve Russian weapons.

So where are the remnants of all those missiles shot down? Remember the Russians claimed the ridiculous number of 71. They should have been able to fill a whole hangar with parts instead of just a few remnants that they showed during that briefing. Looks like all they did was recover pieces from the targets struck post strike and stick them on a range in order to put a few holes in them for propaganda effect. The same with the un-exploded Tomahawk warhead. The TLAM can still impact and the warhead fails to detonate. The Russians/Syrians find the warhead at the target and claim a shoot down.
It is all part of the propaganda claims. It needs to be done in order to save face and bolster the Syrians.

But the main thing is that neither planes nor nuclear missiles will be able to take off from the territory of the United States to destroy Russia, China or any other country.
Hur-dur, ballistic missile submarines.
Are you sure that Russian scientists are so stupid that they did not even think about this problem?
So explain how they are going to overcome this problem of the ballistic missile subs?
Is this a stupid recruitment attempt to obtain secret information?)))
I feel sorry for your special services)))

I am not too worried about this, Russia may or may not have a tech edge over us, however, their manufacturing Process is equal to the 70's-80's compared to the USA. They may have the tech but cannot produce it in numbers that function reliably. Like Germany in WWII.
