You cannot be serious. The guy beating the drum matched into this kids face and he stood his ground, good for him! The only hate I see in our country is hate from liberals aimed at anyone who doesn’t think like them. Liberals are the new fascists. I would like to openly admit that I am offended anytime I hear the word “Obama” or “Clinton”, however, I do not want to take away the rights of the low iq individuals to wear hats or shirts showing their support for these criminals.

When the person that views that hat as racist/homophobic/sexist/ or any other negative, when the person that wears that hat defeats all there preconceived notions of who should or shouldn't be wearing that hat what do they default to, now they are none of those, but just crazy.

who said anything about hats? well lets see, just about every source of media on this issue. not to mention they have been calling these hats racist pretty much since they first appeared. and i don't recall seeing or reading anything about any other so called hate symbol in regards to this story. no swastikas, in a white circle, on a red background for example.

I definitely said he went through a horrific event. I also would have said he didn't deserve threats. I don't recall every feeling the need to defend him though.

If Sandmann or Hogg can turn what they experienced into a positive by all means let them.

If I am weighing Hogg sitting in a classroom and getting fired upon verses Sandmann chanting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and engaging in prolonged eye contact though - Yes, I will double down and say I believe Hogg comes away with more innocence in the matter. That is not mutually exclusive with me thinking Sandmann is some crazy, aggressive, racist though either.

I don't know if the judge will try the case by Kentucky law. The kid is a minor, so that might play a factor. But the event took place in DC and the libel was committed in NYC or DC or LA.

Civil suits like this can be messy. If the lawyer was going after me, I'm nobody. I don't have enough money for a decent lawyer. The MSM has fancy lawyers and Jim Carrey is still worth $150 million. Deep pockets can buy the best lawyers. Discovery is an unfair process and a legal smear campaign will destroy this kid. He will have to go to college overseas by the time this case is over.

That's the problem with celebrities and so called 'media personalities', they think fame and intelligence are symbiotically linked.

The dude did nothin' wrong, but then you have vapid entertainers who come out with gems such as 'well uh like um, Syria is like um, really bad' or they announce they are humanitarians because they are protecting the rare intestinal gut bacteria that everyone has.
