Did old Bill Clinton know this guy personally? How could he talk of him so passionately if they didn't have a relationship? BC saw his drive and impact of his work with Clinton Global?

There is a picture of him included with the below link standing in front of a Clinton Global Initiative backdrop.

At the Clinton Global Initiative... I-DEV commits to facilitating US$100 million in investments to high impact businesses in frontier emerging markets.

His mother told NBC News that Spindler received grants from the Clinton Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to help him achieve his goals of trying to make a difference in the world.

Reading THIS ARTICLE today flabbergasted me.

I knew drug cartels and illegals dug tunnels to get from there to here, but this sophistication of tunnel digging and manmade caves is astonishing.

How in the world did our government not know all of this was being built underground?

What or who else has come into this country through the use of these sophisticated tunnels and caves?

You would think we would have technology to detect this kind of digging and excavation.

Somebody has been turning a blind eye (politicians? intelligence? law enforcement?) for decades. Money money money!

Exactly! We DO have the tech to detect and eliminate these tunnels. Why they havent so far is the 64,000 dollar question. A conspiratorial thinker would say that the governments of the border states have been paid off to look the other way. It just came out the El Chapo gave the former Mexican President a 100 million dollar bribe. Its naive to think that bribes of these kinds did not make their way to the other side of the border as well.

What Happened? Michael Cohen Spotted in New York With a Black Eye, Arm in a Sling

Longtime Donald Trump lawyer Michael Cohen returned to his Manhattan apartment Friday after suffering some kind of physical injury – with his arm appearing to be in a sling on a day President Trump and his team once again branded him a liar.

Cohen could be seen Friday with his left arm covered, hanging in a sling, while sporting a possible black eye. His right hand had a small bandage of the kind used to cover a small wound by an IV.

He also wore a red identification of the kind distributed by hospitals.

Cohen’s representative didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment about his condition or what happened.

I'm wondering if this is connected to Trump's tweet saying to watch Cohen's father-in-law.

Certain politicians and LEOs I'm sure did know about some of the tunnels all along. One of the docu channels (History, A&E, Disc) can't remember, did a special segment several years ago on these drug cartel tunnels. During their investigation they found the drug cartels hired and paid millions to PhD level people with expertise in mining/tunneling operations to plan, design and oversee the digging/construction. Some of these tunnels forked off to cavern size rooms to store drugs/cash/weapons like in that movie Sicario. Some of the tunnels had a electric rail line with rail cars like they use in some mining operations. Quite shocking. It's probably posted up on YT.

I wonder now if any LEO agency or military has done any border fly-bys using GPR imagery.

I haven't done the organized research yet, but just a basic reading of Shusterman, his connections, Michael Cohen's background, etc., I get the feeling that this bunch may have gotten themselves in deep doo-doo with some very bad hombres of foreign descent.

None of it seems to be connected to Donald Trump. So far, it looks like the Shustermans (extremely wealthy) purchased property in the 90's from Trump Tower, then later sold it.

The media is trying to put the spotlight on Trump because he hired Cohen in 2006.

But, from what I have read so far, Cohen's nefarious connections are his own making.

Cohen is probably doing or saying everything he can just to stay alive or in one piece. Perhaps he got a little warning today.

A lot of those tunnels are rebuilt/maintained since the Escobar days etc. They're not simple minded and uneducated by any means. They have brilliant engineering, whether its self taught or officially educated, it works, and it works well. The logistics, engineering, all around organization of these cartels is mindblowing. Engineering a tunnel seems a lot simpler than a narco submarine. Their entire operations in columbia/mexico/etc are very sophisticated.

90% of what's caught coming across the border are set out to be caught on purpose -- they're decoys. Theyll lose $200,000 in product just to get another $1,000,000 across.

This speaks to the endless system of selective argument. "Most of the drugs come through ports of call or legit boarder entrances, so a wall is pointless."

What kind of idiot figures that PhD level drug lords created by Bush's C_A are stupid enough to send all the drugs through a place of confiscation? I'm a knucklehead, but I know enough to send enough to ports to waste the agent's time, and send the bulk elsewhere.

50 years of C_A expertise used to make the US the biggest drug end point on the entire planet. I hardly think that after all that time their primary distribution is empty spare tires and kids with backpacks.

No doubt in my mind. Someone with enough power to make people look the other way definitely. Local politicians, law enforcement, border patrol, military, and some federal officials for sure. If you pay attention to the cartels, watch documentaries about them (even the likes of Griselda Blanco, Pablo Escobar, "Freeway" Rick Ross) you can see just how they operate, how sophisticated the operations are, from smuggling, to the social engineering of their neighborhoods and such, all..brilliant really. The cartels give back to their communities tremendously, as did Escobar, and thats why people love them. Its a social construct designed to keep people on your side, so that if they need help/cover/lookouts theyll be more than happy to do so, or die.

It's not much different than military operations in Afghanistan/Iraq. We go there and blow the hell out of their villages/cities, but keep a friendly and approachable demeanor with locals to assure them that we are the good guys, no matter what we destroy or who we kill.

I think one of the reasons the cartels/narcos are able to thrive so much is that people underestimate them. They're very much ran like the military.
