“No, I’ve not seen it personally.”
Camerota asked Cormier of the “dubious past” of his co-author Jason Leopold who came under scrutiny for faulting reporting for Salon 2002 that led to an article getting removed. In 2006 he incorrectly reported that Karl Rove had been indicted. “He was in trouble for perhaps claiming to have sources he really didn’t have. His stories didn’t wash. Executive directors and editors have had to apologize after some of his big blockbuster stories,” Camerota noted, before asking” How can you be certain today?”

But nonetheless, CNN is running with it relentlessly, even with no corroboration or evidence. Like they did with the dossier, the prostitutes the pee and the bed!
It's hilarious to watch, also shows how desperate they really are to destroy this president by any means necessary. They can't see a path to defeat him any other way now, and they know that the leftist, globalist, progressive, socialist agendas end with this president if they fail.

yes he did actually backtrack
President Donald Trump directed his longtime attorney Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow, according to two federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter.
The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through interviews with multiple witnesses from the Trump Organization and internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents. Cohen then acknowledged those instructions during his interviews with that office.
There is NO evidence of Trump DIRECTING Cohen to lie,

The age of journalism, sadly, is dead right now and it will be hard to come back.
This is the new cycle.
MSNBC,NBC,CNN,WaPo.NYT,NYPost,TheView.MOrningJOe all run a story in the morning.
All D reps in Congress tweet that Trump should be impeached or step down
Retraction on an obscure part of their web pages.
Recycle the next day.
That is it. For over 3 years that is ALL the media has done.

The special counsel's sentencing memo described Michael Cohen's cooperation as "overstated." This most likely means that he really didn't help them much.

You mean kind of like the NYT making a retraction on its scoop about Manafort sharing polling data with Deripaska and other Russian spies?
"Whoops! Did we say Russian agents? We actually meant Ukrainians! They're still the good guys, right?"

Kilimnik, a fluent English speaker and graduate of a Russian military school
The FBI assesses that Kilimnik “has ties to a Russian intelligence service and had such ties in 2016”, Mueller’s team said in a court filing, in March, in which Kilimnik was described only as “Person A”
The filing also said Gates, who worked closely with Manafort and Kilimnik in Ukraine, privately specified to an associate in 2016 that Kilimnik was “a former Russian intelligence officer with the GRU”, the agency accused of waging “information warfare” against US politics using social media and email hacking.

The sentencing memo recommended a "substantial term of imprisonment". Perhaps you're thinking of Flynn?
