Chickens coming home to roost ?

Prince Philip was involved in the crash earlier this afternoon while driving near the Queen's Sandringham estate , his Range Rover was hit by an oncoming car as he pulled out of a driveway.
Not a Royalist but I do kinda like the old duffer , at 97 he should hand over the car keys though.

The duke was driving a Range Rover and was pulling out of a driveway onto the A149 when the accident happened.

According to eyewitnesses, the car that the duke was driving overturned.

The eyewitnesses said they helped the duke out of the vehicle. He was conscious but "very, very shocked" and shaken, they added.

The BBC's royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell added that two people in the other vehicle - a saloon car - were treated for minor injuries, according to reports from Norfolk Police.

Glad no one was hurt , there's enough drama in this country a dead Royal is the last thing we need ... apart from a Labour government of course.

He probably accidentally shapeshifted while driving and lost control of the vehicle.

He shouldn't drive anymore at that age. Time to get a chauffeur.

Huh? The 97-year-old husband of the queen of England drives his own car?

Are you going to tell him he can't ?

I think this will signal the end of that little luxury though.

If you've read up on him you'll know he pretty much "drives" whatever he wants.

Phil The Greek locked in the cells overnight if he failed a breath test.

That would be something to see.

They both look so old an frail, get them in a home, scrap the royal family and make more money from their estate by opening up Buckingham Palace to the public. Imagine how many people would pay top dollar to see where the Royals lay their heads and their cables.

We would end up being better off. No expensive, high ritual weddings, no coronations, no royal funerals, no having to go through the cost of reminting all our coins and reprinting our notes. (after all, when the next monarch's visog appears on our money the length of time between that and the next time we have to remint will be a lot shorter than the previous time, I'd say no more than 20 years).

Totally outdated and unnecessary part of British life....
