Borders are imaginary. The birds don't care about borders, they go where they will. Really funny that you accuse me of hating freedom when you want everyone to be locked in a little box with a specific flag on it that supposedly dictates everything about them. See I know that evolution is wrong, so I don't have to degrade myself like you do, by thinking of myself as just an 'upright monkey', or the same as a plant, or a rock etc.

But the thing is, unlike what you say, birds are territorial. Most animals are territorial. Humans are territorial. So what I don't understand is why people like you who believe in evolution don't turn round and say that we should have nationalism, because we have been evolved to be territorial.

It's like the theory of evolution is used only when it suits, when in fact it is the perfect theory to use to support putting up walls.

I've been hearing this issue of relinquishing national sovereignty for a long time now, but those pushing it never go so far as to explain just who we are supposed to hand it to!
Surely they don't mean the globalist bankers, corporations and faceless, behind the scenes control freaks we already answer to in many ways. I mean, they don't exactly have a stellar record of promoting peace, harmony and prosperity......except for themselves of course, in their private islands and mansions, guarded by either national militaries or private mercenaries.


The EU, in principle, was / is probably a good idea, but it's implementation is nothing more than one big pyramid scheme, with those at the top reaping the benefits. Poorer states are bribed to join and promised the earth, but what they get is austerity, privatisation of everything to foreign corporations and debt that their great, great, great grandchildren will still be paying.

The only way such schemes could ever work is for a level playing field approach, where all people earn the same, are taxed the same, have the same oportunities and standard of living from one state to the next. Idealistic perhaps, but a more realistic and workable scheme than the one that has been forced on so many, where the only ones to profit are the big banks and corporations, who even get bailed out when their criminal fraud schemes blow up in their faces!

As for the immigration issue, it's another manufactured crisis, where politically motivated and funded NGO's are complicit, and play an active role in, the "people trafficking" flooding western nations with the poor from other states.
I look back at all the government (taxpayer) aid sent overseas over the decades, not to mention the charity drives almost every year, to help those deemed this years most needy and wonder where has it all gone and what has been achieved.

We are talking tens, if not hundreds of £Billions here, yet nothing seems to have changed, so where has all the money gone? Probably into the same banks that covertly fund the arms to keep the unrest going and thus the arms sales by the big manufacturers to western militaries in order to "do something" to bring peace and democracy to this years designated "rogue" nation.

So, I guess what I am getting at, in a rambling and roundabout way, is that those seeking the end of national sovereignty are the very people who should never have any power over others in the first place and are put in power and backed by those who seek wider control and have the ill gotten gains to finance it, for their own nefarious purposes. I doubt we will see any change from the current situation in my remaining lifetime, unless the people drag them from power and overturn the entire existing, and stinky, world order!
