They Cross reference this in post 2517 with a picture of an Air China plane.

I notice that different post styles arise; speculative, informative, expressive, communicative, instructional, analytical, ad infinitum...

My favorite type is inspirational, that's where the meems come from. Put them all together, that's a pretty awesome thing to be part of. This is how we collectively "solve" these puzzles.

One common aspect of these post styles is something like the same skill involved in test-taking. This is what we are doing, detective work, but in group format.....like a bunch of students, I guess.

Anyway, that test-taking skill is what I want to mention. I bet we all have it to a large degree, and we all know what it is. Test taking is best demonstrated by making a "good guess", and this takes a combo of a lot of different skills ....exactly what a group has; people with different skills. A proverbial "Think Tank"

Add it up; common sense, an understanding of the real world, encyclopedic knowledge, inductive and deductive reasoning, pattern recognition, subjective analysis...we have it all in common and in ourselves. It's the reason things are so "obvious", after someone you know explains it here.

I don't reply to every post, but I read them all and always gain something in the process.

That's my post. It's a post about posts, a meta-post. We agree on a lot of stuff, sometimes it just needs to be said, so we can agree.

Sufi, I love that this resonates with you for the reasons you describe. I listened a lot to Alan Parsons Project when I was a teen, owned several albums (also decades ago). Funny thing is I only chose to link the video because of it showing the King Of Diamonds from the album cover. * Prosecutor asked judge to adjourn proceedings in his trial for 24 hours. (Defendant died within this 24 hour delay).
* Prosecutor is used as source for confirming time of death, claims defendant died 16 min before trial was set to begin.

But the most suspicious thing about that article isn’t even mentioned anywhere:

* Nowhere in the article is the make/year and model of the crashed vehicle mentioned.

Nope.
We need everyone to have a voice. The more the merrier and the more diverse, the more learn from each other.

It's good to hear that because otherwise we'd have an echo chamber here.
I left the chans when I found ATS because the chans are much too crass for my liking.
ATS is 'home' for me now. I love all the people here so far - even the more irksome kind.
In fact, I think the irksome kind are very important to my personal growth and learning.
