Many scientists are sure that when it reaches 13 cycles per second, the Earth will stop completely for three days, after which it will rotate again, but only in the opposite direction.
Hi ATS! Today I propose to talk about time. Where it goes and why it is no longer enough.

I think where it comes from helps one understand where it goes, in which can allow us to make more time by adjusting our perception.

Drying of inland seas, lakes and reservoirs occurs. We started to lose water, it just goes into space. The total number of substances lost by the Earth has far exceeded many trillions of tons, the mass of our planet has decreased by the same amount.
On the Earth, water can exist in all three forms namely as a solid, liquid, or gas. Evaporation transforms liquid water into water vapour which can then freely move in the atmosphere as a gas.
Now, atmospheric molecules, including water vapour molecules, are in perpetual motion in all directions. Without the gravitational field of the Earth, those moving away from the planet would be lost. Even with the gravitational field, in the upper thin part of the atmosphere, a molecule moving outwards has little chance of colliding with another and would therefore be able to escape if it has sufficient speed.
The average speed of the gas, for example water vapour, depends on its temperature. The conditions of temperature at the altitude from which water molecules are able to escape indicate the earth can retain water vapour over geological time scales, that is, over several billion years.
The retention of water vapour on our planet is also favoured by the fact that it can condense, form clouds at an altitude well below the one from which water molecules can escape and precipitate back to the ground as rain or snow.
Adding to all these, we have to remember that water is also introduced in the hydrological cycle from the interior of the planet, for example, every time that a volcanic eruption occurs.
So, to summarize, even if a few water molecules are continuously lost to space, the average level remains fairly constant over geological times, which is what we want!

Very good thread ! Yeah i agree on this time stuff...
Why Is Earth's heart a flutter... ! ? Did Earth see its mate ? Or is Earth sick, an atrial flutter ?
Why when it reaches 13 ? Details please...

Time is a human construct that does not exist as we think.
Things happen in cycles and once we understand that then “time” ceases to matter.
Do you have any tips to slow down our perception of time?
One thing I have noticed speed's up out perception of time, having kids!

Many years ago an interesting feature of our planet was discovered. It turns out that the Earth has a pulse or a beat, which was called the resonance of Schumann. This pulse is very similar to a person's heartbeat and is approximately 7.8 beats per second. This rhythm was on the planet for thousands of years, but in 1980 it became known that this rhythm accelerated for some reason, and today it is already 12 beats per second.
Many scientists are sure that when it reaches 13 cycles per second, the Earth will stop completely for three days, after which it will rotate again, but only in the opposite direction.
