My point is these people grew up in times we cant understand.

A great depression , with food lines that now look easy. yeah we have em but not like then, not the poverty.

WW2 where there was actual devastation, not bombs that were discriminatory or , could hone in, but whole parts of Britain laid waste, something we couldnt imagine now, nor would it be allowed.


Say what you want, but they served , they survived and yeah things went a bit sideways , but his wife damn sure earned our respect, and its good she has him home. Life was sure different back then, hell they are 20 years ago.

sorry for your loss but care to actually put the facts forward about how there were no less that 10 attempts made to contact the aircraft and more by both Iranian and US military?

No offense and it was a horrible incident but that was negligence on the part of the flight crew.

I was a commercial pilot for 30 years. If you fail to hail back from towers or anyone else repeatedly thats bad news.
