I am screwed

I got a call at 12 pm or so tonight. My nephew had some sort of problem at work. No idea what.
He then proceed to drink a whole bottle of fun.....100% proof. Fun and joy.
He already has issues with his mom...my sister. Drugs, guys that try to kill her..etc.
His wife called me.... I went over to get her. He had already said " Don't call anyone it would be bad"
But then I am the uncle, if anyone can control his stupid ass ....its is me.

I went over, grabbed his wife and their 3 month old child. He is way kewl.
She is an illegal alien, been here since she was 6 .So an american, that has no idea what mexico is like.
She is currently finishing her masters degree.

You can see all the problems for me. My family has been here since the 1620's.
But this woman is my nephews wife.... the child is my family. And I will fight for that.

Anyhow, I grabbed all his guns, (he made no threats). Legal and permitted.
He woke up form a dead drunk.... walked out and stared at her. I stepped in between and said "back down! she is family!"
I took her home and put the child and her in one of my bedrooms.

He wont do anything but is very upset.


she is an illegal alien. But has legal status. She is a nurse and is taking advanced classes in the medical field.



I am not sure what to do.


Should I take him out with my brothers, (cops & marines) and read him the riot act? or beat him myself?

Maybe a lawyer or family counseling would be more productive than ATS.

Do you American duty, call ICE, let them handle the rest. Don't you believe in serving your country?? Deport your nephew while your at it, just for the lulz.

Sound like a normal @ss woopin is not something this guy will take lightly or even phase him. Some people just have issues that go deeper than family. If he can't get mental help or is not willing to he will just become one of those insane rednecks that will fight anyone that looks in his direction. Sorry dude some ppl just don't want to change.

I meant ICE for the illegal alien you are harboring. Deporting your nephew was just a fun suggestion for some good laughs. Maybe he needs some time down in Tijuana.

You dont know my family.... it will most certainly change him.

Can't do much to help your nephew until he wants help, and with people who are stuck in addiction, that's not usually until they hit rock bottom. When they hit rock bottom generally depends on how much people around them enable them.

Well, first of all, don't put your membership in jeopardy by using curse words in your titles or posts.

That will move things forward not one bit. Its not that I mind some cussin', since my mouth is as potty as they get. However, I am concerned that you don't do your ability to commune with us any damage, though I can well understand your dismay at matters.

Now, if the situation is that your nephew is being a whackadoo, getting drunk as heck and not taking responsibility for himself or his family, then yeah, read him the riot act, and if he finds it difficult to recall its details, tattoo them on his forehead and put a mirror on a lanyard round his neck so he can check them for himself from time to time.
