It's possible there is miscommunication there, I believe and I may be wrong that that condemnation comes from some trump supporters just blindly going along with what trump says no matter what, which is really surreal, especially here on a site like this where the members would be expected to scrutinize everything he says and does....

All true maybe, but I would suggest various US communities forget differences and come together.

You are truly facing an ideologically-fired invasion, and although one should have all kinds of minority (black, Hispanic, Native American or lgbt) solidarity - I don't see how this benefits anyone in the US at the moment.

What "migrants" think of lgbt is already apparent (a splinter group of 80 queer people had to flee from the "caravan" already).

And the working class and poor in your country?
The price of their labor and their social benefits will decrease.

And despite revisionist history - Mestizos haven't treated blacks or real American Indians very nicely either.

That doesn’t explain why he’s accused of being anti-immigration when he clearly is not. Opposing illegal immigration (like you do) does not mean he should be accused of being anti immigrant.

But when cnn put up headlines like ‘The President is anti immigrant’ and then play a clip where he says nothing that can be construed as such, I don’t see why people blindly go along with what they say without scrutinising them.

I don’t blindly go along with everything he says but I fully understand that he definitely doesn’t say or do the things the mainstream media says that he says or does.

While there are some who fit that, most do not go along with everything Trump says. I have called him out more than once on issues. But the narrative is that because I might think Trump is doing the right thing, that somehow makes me an "apologist" who "blindly follows Trump."

And I'm not sorry; when I see that, I am offended. It is childish, false, and malicious.

If you will ignore the broad brushes you might see the truth: Donald Trump is not being blindly followed; Donald Trump is following the will of the people. Thus, the people agree with him. It's not that complicated.

I have been accused of being a racist isolationist who wants America to be white. My wife is Asian, not white. My kids will not be white. My wife is a 1st generation non citizen immigrant. She actually has her citizenship interview in a week or so.

But because I am not for open borders that is what I am labeled by some.

Most of these people trying to break through the wall are total garbage criminals with criminal intent. Throwing rocks at authorities, what will they do when they get in and get safely away? They will victimize others and they won't stop until death.
You could give garbage like this a million dollars in a wheelbarrow and they would say "Where's the rest of it" with a threatening voice.

The worst part is, they know they’re being intentionally obtuse and malicious but they keep doing it.

It’s called ‘fascism’, deliberately painting those who they see as ‘against’ them as ‘evil’.

They won’t succeed, they’re most definitely the minority. In the United States and the World.

The President will keep following the will of the people and making headroad.

As you see from hopenotfear, he also agrees with the President’s immigration policy. I think all of the President’s detractors do.

In one of the Epoch videos a person is waving the flag of Honduras. At the border gate.

How can someone claim asylum when they are still claiming so much pride in their native country that they carried a flag over several thousand miles instead of, oh I don' know... carrying extra food and water?

I'm not claiming to have any solutions, open borders work in Europe because of the topography and I should add that only works for EU citizens not the illegal immigration that is occurring, but that's a whole other topic, for countries like the U.S and Australia for example it doesn't work at all. The only solution I can see that will make a change is help the countries that people are fleeing from do better so the people do not feel the need to pack up and seek a better life, but obviously that has many flaws, i will just throw my hands up in the air and say who the # knows...

Let me answer this for you because its the only thing that makes logical sense. There are people who detest America, detest our culture, detest our way of life. They know America will not be defeated militarily. They do know letting in hordes of third worlders, a relentless stream of low educated , third world people, who will not assimilate will be the eventual downfall of the USA..

To put in plainly they are interested because they DESPISE America and want it to become a third world failure. There really is no other logical reason. You'll never get a admittance of this from them though.

Open borders in Europe is similar to open borders between states for US citizens.

As long as America is richer people will want to be economic migrants and come here. It's easier. We need to make it harder so they are encouraged to stay and improve their country.

Agreed, from what I understand many are fleeing from drug lords and other tyrants that pollute their way of life, one part of a solution may be to decriminalise drugs in the U.S, that way these tyrants are limited in their ability to control and make money thus reducing their influence....

I highly doubt seeing how the majority videos i have seen majority of those fleeing are largely all men. How do we know those so called Children that are with those migrant caravan are even their children?
