So could these satellites possibly be among the same group creating the perfect geometric crop circle shapes we oh so love to see in the wheat and corn fields???

So it's interesting to theorize about stuff like this, but why bother going to the trouble of using a satellite death ray? It's easy enough for any jackass to start a forest fire and get away with it. It's not like there's surveillance cameras all over the US forests and such.

A maser, that is, microwave amplification through stimulated electromagnetic radiation, the microwave equivalent of a laser, would be a great weapon for remotely frying electronics and could indeed cause fires when pointed at them. But that technology is still expensive. They have recently made a huge step towards cheap and easy to produce masers with the room temp diamond nitrogen-vacancy center maser, but it's still a long way off from being a space weapon.

Much easier and cheaper to just use something ground based. No doubt the US and other governments have weaponized satellites a long time ago, but to think it's a technology they would require or prefer to use is silly in my opinion.

Every single new conspiracy on ATS is purely based on anything that opposes the democrats or liberals. That is pathetic!
That's just how you perceive it. I have nothing against your desire to have sexual relations with dolphins, corpses, or children, as long as you don't act on these fantasies and keep it to yourself. The problem I have with your ideology is the fact that it's inherently communist and I don't believe there are any real republicans in the US anyway.

Forest fires started by sooper sekrit gubmit space weapons …. R I G H T …….

Have seen number of fires started by downed power lines -most common cause is wind/weather, tree limbs contacting
power lines , vehicles striking the poles

Have not seen one started by space weapons yet

Reading accounts find that there is a canyon bear where believe the PGE wires started the fire - the canyon would have
funneled the wind increasing the speed. If trees were not pruned back a limb contacting the wires would cause an arc
sufficient to start a fire

Holy smokes....a REAL conspiracy on ATS!!!! That is spectacular reading OP. I went to look up microwaves and yeah.....invisible. I thought there may be some way to view them but I cant find it.

Its like a real james bond movie.

I know right. I remember when it was mostly a conspiracy site.

The source of this information came from a thesis on microwaves used in radio transmissions and the issues dealing with microwave transmission in fire and combustible environents and factors,

Yes. It is about problems with radio communications during wildfires. Nothing in there about starting fires with microwaves so I'm not sure what your point is. Do you think the fires were set to interfere with radio communications? Is that what you're getting at?

Radio propagation in the presence of fire is known to be problematic to communications. In this thesis we use both experimental and theoretical approaches to examine and understand radio propagation in fire environments.

Why can't we just return to nukes in the ionosphere?

Ah for the good old days when nukes were all we had to worry about.

I hear ya.

Just duck and cover... Simple!

What about HAARPs?

HAARPs make earthquakes and hurricanes. Not measly wildfires.

Wait a second....checking my notes

*Earthquakes = CME's

*Weather = HAARP

Did I miss a meeting?

Yeah could be I agree but I need a few more answers in that regard before I go with either scenario.

For me, if your reasonable thesis turns out to be true, we still have some culprits and accessories accountable for malfeasance and there might be a few or more who share the literal blame. Jerry Brown. PG&E. Others.

Hmm well interesting thread and theory by the way Asktheanimals i had seen an interesting video this summer of a tree being burned out in the inside like a laser beam?

I will see if i able to find it.

Your thoughts on this?

This doesn't look like CGI for sure.

Not CGI, there are several other videos like this, not knowing which type of tree it's difficult to even make a guess. I do know that Redwoods are fire resistant on the outside. There is a different picture of a burning tree which looks to be following a lightning blaze down it's trunk.

Microwaves fires would tend to concentrate heat on the outside of objects. I'm thinking that trees with lots of needles would dissipate heat much faster than a dead tree with no leaves. The relationship of mass to surface area would greatly affect heat transmission. It's the way these fires burn houses but leave trees green nearby which got me to wondering about how that could happen. The type of material would also greatly affect it's flammability.

Non-native Eucalyptus trees are abundant in these areas of CA and they burn like torches.

Your guess is as good as mine but as I said some trees have bark that is fire resistant so that might be a factor here?

I would add that you see many burned cars with no glass. Microwaves can melt glass which requires a temperature of around twice that of a forest fire. You also see most are missing their tires which also requires extremely high temperatures to burn.

It is but there was no lightning or storms associated with these fires.

That is strange although lightning can strike many tens of miles away from where the actual lightningstorm is.

I'm not saying this particular tree was hit by lightning just saying i've seen this phenomenon before in trees that got hit by lightning.

You'd have to look up the timestamp of the video, location of the tree and search for weatherradar images to see if it checks out.

Microwaves fires would tend to concentrate heat on the outside of objects.

Do you have any particular reason for saying this?
Do you know how microwave ovens work when it comes to heating food?

Source?

How extreme?

Microwaves themselves don't necessarily heat objects from the outside but surface area acts to dissipate heat buildup. Many factors determine where the heating is actually done (material type, dielectric properties, shape, length of microwaves etc).

Glass melts at anywhere from 2550 - 3000 Fahrenheit
hypertextbook.com...

An average surface fire on the forest floor might have flames reaching 1 metre in height and can reach temperatures of 800°C (1,472°F) or more.

wildfiretoday.com...

I was mistaken about the melting point of tires which is 1,100 Fahrenheit but still within the range of forest fire temperature.
I believed it to be much higher - thanks for the question.

How about the part about microwaves heating it to those temperatures? But you've seen evidence of liquified glass from these fires?
