Spano holds Florida 15. This is said to be an excellent sign for the GOP ticket as a whole in Florida.

Predictions like these (and like polls) rely on properly weighting the turnout from each side. So their raw data may be the same, but the matrix is completely different giving a widely different result. You don't know what the turnout actually looks like until it's all counted.

Can someone please help an Aussie watching this election?

Is it all house and senate seats that are up for election or just some seats?

I'm a bit confused by the use of the phrase "Mid Term" election. Is that mid presidential term?

In Australia our senate has half the seats up for grabs one election and the other half is up at the next election - usually 3 years between elections.

Massachusetts elects Ayana Pressley, their first black Congresswoman ... and friend of Ocasio-Cortez. Let's hope she's smarter than her pal.

Senators are up for election every 6 years, but only 1/3 are up for re-election at a time.
