That again means that the original reading of trust Sessions is correct, and he was doing something important and now his role is done, like Gowdy and Goodlatte.

I'll admit I'm not 100% clear on what Sessions' role was in all of this, but it's perfectly clear that he did have a role, and that role ended yesterday. Same for Rosenstein.

Even with the House, when you look at the other midterm elections of newly-elected presidents, a loss of roughly 30 seats is rather modest. Clinton and Obama both lost many more seats in their first midterms. Trump's performance is comparable to how George W Bush fared.

The fact that Swamp-Creatures are going into fits of rage over Sessions firing, speaking of "red lines crossed" (again), shows me that it was a good move.

Sick of this insane hyperbole. Firing someone is nothing unusual.

I tend to think that Gowdy, Goodlatte and Sessions were all previously compromised (something in their past, not Trump Administration related) and they were kept on as a security move. Now that is all out the door. Things are happening.
