If you paid attention to who was put in charge of the Fox News division after Roger Aisles was fired you would know the answer and understand how Fox took a jolting turn to the left.

If you wish to discuss that topic start a new thread and dont derail this one with your games.

Ah. So Fox is left wing.

Thanks for clarifying. Fake news also. I'll remember that.

Has anyone told the president?

You should go do that right now and force him to believe you while we discuss the actual topic of this tread.

Since you forget a reminder -
Explosive sent to democrats and CNN.

Anything on that topic? Like why law enforcement allowed access to and photos to be taken of physical evidence? Maybe address why local law enforcement is speaking out of turn on an investigation that is being run by another law enforcement agency and the fact that agency is the lead agency for all the investigations?

You sure? You last few posts are about anything but the topic.

Again -

What makes you think law enforcement was present at the time?

I guess the FBI should have stopped the presser?

Of course, when it could make the Right look bad it is all a false flag.. and we believe... Alex Jones... but when you could potentially blame it on the "left" it is the violent communist socialist Liberal globalist leftist

the hypocrisy is pathetic... I expect nothing less though

If media handled / photographed the photos w/out permission then I expect whoever took the photos to be arrested and charged with tampering with evidence and obstructing as federal investigation.

No - the presser should never have occurred. You dont address the media about an investigation your agency is not running. It goes along with all those times I have assisted other agencies in their cases and having to refer media requests for info back to he original agency who is in charge. Even though we assisted and could answer the media questions it is not our case, we dont have all the info involving the case and to do so is a gross violation of investigative integrity as a whole. Releasing partial info can affect the overall investigation and tip people off.

For instance revealing the packages and what the bombs looked like. The references to isis on/in the bombs etc.

You just dont do it.

You mean like the left has been doing since Trump won?
Russia collusion...
The "dossier"...
Intentionally misquoting what Trump says to force a change in context (like Lee and Grant for instance)...
Like weaponizing the FBI and IRS to target conservative groups...
Weaponizing our FBI / intelligence agencies to take Trump down..

But you're right... I cant imagine why the left would be looked at as being the possible perpetrators behind this attack.. I am racking my brain trying to figure it out.

/end sarcasm.

Permission from whom? I didn't know it was illegal to take a picture of something on your desk. But if it is, by all means, justice should prevail.

Right, because nothing at all should be said to the public. Ever. Tell me, what do you think was revealed that may impede the investigation? Is it better to let speculation run rampant?

They took pictures after the bomb was defused. It is evidence and the details in photos can tip people off who might be involved. The bomb does not belong to CNN or Brennan.

originally posted by: Phage Right, because nothing at all should be said to the public. Ever. Tell me, what do you think was revealed that may impede the investigation? Is it better to let speculation run rampant?

Actually it has to do with the integrity of the investigation as a whole but I don't expect you or some others to understand it. Disclosure or non disclosure of certain info revolves around the investigation and everything else involved. For instance pointing out the fact some of the stamped packages didnt need to be stamped to use a courier. Showing how the packages were addressed and what font type is used. Images of the device and disclosure that the USPS would discover these types of explosives based on design of the bomb.

Releasing information is a double edge sword. In certain circumstances allowing speculation can in fact save lives. It doesnt let the people behind sending these bombs know that the bomb design they chose would be easily detected. Or the fact postage is not needed to use a courier and that the presence of postage on a package delivered by a courier would be a red flag now. Or disclosing that the way the packages were marked with addresses etc might be a tell tale sign, allowing those behind the bombs to make minor changes to make it look like its coming from a legitimate source.

Every piece of evidence / info that is given to the media / confirmed to the media allows people to A - copy cat the crimes, thereby muddying the investigative waters and B - allows people who would otherwise be to stupid to know the bomb design, stamps on packages delivered by couriers and the way the packages were addressed would be a red flag to law enforcement.

It gives the people responsible the ability to change their tactics, to improve the design / packages / labeling etc that would allow a follow up attack to succeed.

But your right.. Lets disclose everything to the media and help the idiots who perpetrated the attack refine their tactics so it succeeds the second go around.

Law Enforcement has a responsibility to protect the people. The media has that exact same responsibility and jeopardizing an investigation simply to get something on air is dangerous and it is irresponsible.

Here it is, again.

CNN was given access to the pipe bomb by "law enforcement" after the bomb squad defused the device. It goes back to my observations that you questioned.

DIY ‘pipe bomb’ found in suspicious package sent to CNN in New York City

CNN reporter Jim Acosta shared photos of the package on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon, after a police bomb squad removed it from the Time Warner Center building in downtown Manhattan. The building was evacuated after the package was identified, and no one was harmed.

So take your pick -
Law Enforcement either let him take pictures (or whomever took then) before they defused and removed the bomb.
OR
Pictures were taken prior to law enforcement removing the device to make safe, tampering with evidence.
OR
The pictures were taken without the consent of law enforcement after they defused it.

Also - Everything wrong with the bomb
This is the pipe bomb sent to CNN

The mailers all bore six American-flag “Forever” stamps and computer-printed address labels.

“All packages had a return address of ‘DEBBIE WASSERMAN SHULTZ’ [sic] in Florida,” the FBI said in a statement

The envelope sent to former CIA Director John Brennan at CNN offices in Manhattan also had his name misspelled, as was Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s home state, according to photos released by CNN.

That envelope didn’t bear a postmark, and law-enforcement sources told CNN it was delivered by a courier.

Photos of the device show a cylindrical object, about six inches long, wrapped in black electrical tape and with wires emerging from either end.

The wires — one red and one black — lead to a digital clock or timer taped to the middle of the tube.

A senior law-enforcement official told The New York Times that it resembled the others, saying, “Same package. Same device.”

The FBI described the devices as “potentially destructive,” and law-enforcement sources told The Post that the first one discovered — in a mailbox outside the Katonah home of billionaire George Soros Monday — had black powder on it.

But a source briefed on that device and the one sent to CNN told The Post on Wednesday that they couldn’t actually have blown up because neither was equipped with a blasting cap or other means of detonating explosive material.

“There was nothing to ignite it,” the source said. “There was nothing there.”

The source also said an envelope of unidentified powder contained in the CNN package was too small to create a radiological or biological “dirty bomb.”

The fact that none of the bombs blew up suggests they were built by an amateur, former FBI Agent Steve Gomez told ABC News.

The NYPD used its rarely seen Total Containment Vessel to move the CNN device from the network’s bureau at the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle to the Rodman’s Neck police facility in The Bronx.

Members of the department’s elite Bomb Squad carefully loaded the device into the back of the TCV, placing it onto a suspended net inside the chamber designed to minimize jostling, police sources said.

The TCV, which is mounted on the back of a NYPD Emergency Service Unit truck, is engineered to withstand a blast from within should the device trigger during the trip, minimizing damage to those outside.

In the early afternoon, police blocked off a route to Rodman’s Neck, providing the TCV with quick access to the facility with minimal risk to motorists.

Escorted by a convoy of emergency vehicles, the TCV wound its way to the remote firing range and training facility.

Now, technicians from both the NYPD and FBI are figuring out how to safely transport the device to federal labs for further examination, NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism John Miller said in a press briefing.

The process is being hampered by the envelope of powder included in the package with the bomb, Miller said.

Ideally, investigators would like to disarm the bomb without detonating it, allowing them to comb over it for any clues to the maker’s identity, including fingerprints and DNA, sources said.

A TCV was also used to transport one of Chelsea bomber Ahmad Khan Rahimi’s undetonated pressure-cooker explosives to the facility in 2016.

No blasting caps present to "explode" the device.

That makes less sense than Hillary asking for democracy on his twitter.

The Democrats stalling things?

With what majority in which branch of government? Oh, that's right, they haven't any. Do you know what that means, Doc?
It means that using Democrat actions as an excuse for any failure of the government to make effective, efficient, and appropriate progress, is laughable, that it is the fault of the government and its leadership, NOT the opposition, who have absolutely no capacity just at the moment, to stall, or delay anything much at all. If you think the Kavanaugh issue is a counterpoint to my assertion, I would advise you to think again, especially since it was not the Democrats who were responsible for either his selection on the basis of his nose being so far up the Presidents fundament, that he was sniffing what Trump had for dinner, or indeed the delays in his eventual appointment to the supreme court.

You will find in actual fact, that it would have been impossible for the Dems to prevent the appointment or slow it down, without the involvement of Republicans, and as it turned out Senator Jeff Flake, who is not a Democrat, you will note, was instrumental in the delay of the appointment.

Again, its the party in power and in majority in both the houses, who are responsible for any stagnant or slow movement speed that you are seeing, and you would be better off if you directed your ire in that regard, toward the people actually responsible for it.

Now...

On the matter of the false flag issue. Stranger things have happened... but there again, most of those things happened under Republican control. The MIC is hardly full to brimming with Liberal types. Its VERY on board with the sort of out and out militancy of people like the late Senator McCain, who was also a Republican, however.
